You should look at the config options for the frame...
Choose the layout settings > aura side (make sure the frame is displayed for that option to appear) and move the aura location to the bottom instead of the right.

Aura repositioning seems broken in the latest release. Two days ago I had to switch back to AGUF as my target was just totalyl screwed up, did not show any information at all, just weird colors.
Now that's fixed, I can't move auras any more. At least there's no option in pitbull/target/x or pitbull/target/aura/x. Only stuff to configure in which direction they expand, but not on which side they do.

It's still possible, but the option isn't located under aura's anymore. It's under (few steps down still) Layout Settings, which as far as I can see only appears for the raid/party/solo you've selected under global settings/config options.

Is there any way to hide pet health bars? I really don't care about my Imp's health when all I want to do is Dark Pact and see the mana bar.

Guess you could set the height of his healthbar to 0

Is there any plan to add an experience bar (similar to what agUF has)?

Does anyone know if this works with MobHealth? That is my only complaint about this mod so far I looked through the thread on wowace, but it is huge and I cannot read all of it. Also, the search function doesn't seem to be returning results either

It does work with mobhealth. And the experience/rep bar has been added too recently.

Could anyone explain how to implement the textures of the Surfaces addon into Pitbull? I tried to simply paste the Surfaces folder into my addon folder, this makes Pitbull unable to load at all. I also tried putting the Surfaces folder into the Pitbull folder, to no avail.
I also noticed the health bar textures are .tga files, and there are only .lua files in the Layout and Health subfolders of Pitbull.

All I did was put the Surfaces folder in my AddOns folder. Then I had the option to use any of those textures for PitBull.

I recently switched from Nurfed to Pitbull, and I'm pretty happy with it so far, looks very swish. One thing I miss though is the way that health and mana/rage/energy bars would 'slide' when changing values. Is there an option in Pitbull I'm missing or an easy way to do this?

Have a look for Pitbull_BarFader, Spaceman.
On a side note, one of the latest releases added "Sparks". Visuals for 5sec Caster Rule and a Rogue Energy Ticker.

I've been using Pitbull the last few raids and not had any stability problems.
I should get on the PTR and look at the more detailed profiling stuff however, because something I added recently (possibly Pitbull) has added some very slight noticable graphical lag which I don't like.

I've been having issues with this addon. It has been causing a good number of the addons I've installed not to load or to load and not function. Example: FuXP loads, is visible on my Fubar, but isn't clickable and doesn't display anything on mouseover. My castingbar has disappeared and if I install a version of Pitbull more recent than the April 20th release (I think), almost none of my addons load.
Any suggestions? I really dig a lot of the features of this mod, I'd like to use it.

Make sure all your Libraries are up to date. I set it up last night and was missing a fair number. You can use the tool at www.wowace.com to find the dependencies that you are missing. I had the same problem where when I turned PitBull on FuBar and some other stuff would stop working. I installed the latest Library files and it worked fine.

Download and run WoWace updater. Gatherer broke when I updated it w/o updating other ACE2 mods and libs.
I'll have to check out XP/rep bar I didn't see them last night, if they work time to drop xpBarNone mod.
Are pets now tied to the owners and has anyone used the mod for raid frames? There are two mobhealth mods I forget name of one I have wasn't mobhealth. Is that mod supported as well?

Let me agree here -- there seems to have been some major library change that wreaks havoc with the ace mods unless you update everything.
That said, I'm very frustrated that the easy updater for the Mac no longer seems to update, well, anything. I had to go through the list and download all the mods/libraries by hand, which was annoying after having been able to be lazy.

The java based updater (which works for mac) has been updated, I saw a link floating around in a thread on the wowace forums.
.. but anyway this is the risk with relying on libraries (good old dll hell), a bug in one library breaks all mods that are automatically using that version of the library.
Any major change to a library should be a new version so people using mods with externals included in each mods folder where the mod is tied to it's own version are not affected.
People that run straight off the svn via an updater app who update every day and use the standalone libraries aka mods without externals, probably need to realise they are beta testers and nothing is guaranteed.

I love how easy WAU makes it to update the vast majority of my mods (the rest I can basically keep track of via WoWInterface's RSS feed for the addons I set as favorites), but having had a few experiences of an update gone awry rendering my game nearly unplayable, I've moved to setting up Microsoft SyncToy (free, part of PowerToys for WinXP, does a fairly decent job for syncing and backups) to backup my AddOns and WTF folders, and just run that first everytime I use WAU.
Oh, and using stand alone libraries and updating the mods w/o external libraries helps tons in minimizing library issues.
Back to the issue at hand... I really like PitBull, and the DogTag system is fantastic. But the incessant raid-related crashes the past few days drove me to finally spend the time and effort to set up Grid, and I have to say it was a blessing in disguise - Grid really is fantastic once you get it set up.
Now I just need PitBull's "Hide party frames in raid" option to work properly and I'll be golden.

You should check out WUU. It lets you update from any of the larger interface sites.
curse, wowi, ui.worldofwar.net and of course wowace.
http://wuu.vagabonds.info/
set up is a little more tricky, but is worth it in my opinion.

Ok I love this add-on, but have been having problems. Ever since I've installed it I've had some bad lag and can't stay logged on for more than 5minutes without a wow error that shuts down wow. Before installing it I made a copy of my addons folder. then after adding pitbull to my original folder and getting rid of ag I used ace-updater. Not sure what or how to find the root of the problem.

Sparks would be useful, except that it seems to also reset on Wand damage. Hopefully this can be easily fixed, but if not I guess the non-wand classes can use this feature.
In fact, it triggers on a lot of things it shouldn't, such as dark pact and life tap.

Whenever I load my UI with Pitbull, I get the following error:
"Cannot find a library instance of AceHook-2.1"
Having looked through the WowAce wiki, I can see what this library is. I cannot, however, find a place to download it. My Pitbull is very unstable, I get frequent error messages that won't go away concerning the HealthBar and ManaBar functions, and whenever anyone leaves a raid group that I am in, my WoW crashes with a fatal exception error. So, three questions:
1) What's wrong?
2) Can I fix it by installing the AceHook 2.1 library?
3) If so, where the hell can I get this library?

I'm running standalonelibraries, so mine are defenitly up to date. I'm not having issues with Pitbull, but I do sometimes experience crashes related to party leaves/joins.
About the Acehook, its part of the "ace2" addon on files.wowace.com .
edit: just had a chat with ckknight: he cant actually reproduce it, but he's trying to fix it. Some people on wowace irc stated that his latest change helped resolve the crash for them. update AceEvent (in Ace2), DogTag-1.0, and PitBull.
