You can't split your debuffs from others' debuffs on your target without a separate addon.

How to move debuffs?

I have a problem, I want the debuffs to end up on the right side of the target but they keep appearing under (and thats blocking my enemycastbar)

I'm probably blind here but I don't seem to find how to move it?

Edit - found it, Target > "other" > auras.

It *was* called Pitbull_AltAura, but it is not nessary anymore, since the said function is build in the newest version of pitbull, choose "Split" in the aura configuration menu.

Hmm. I still feel that the configuration of Pitbull's aura system is lacking in how you can place buffs and debuffs. I can't give specific examples as I don't have WoW installed at the moment (damn school!) but I was getting frustrated with it while working on my UI.

Personaly I think ckknight took most of the critics to him, and started to improve it.

I'm very happy with the current aura system Otherwise a bit of lua hacking can do wonders.

Before the latest changes to the aura system, I would manually edit the space difference between the aura's, and setup a custom starting coordinate if nessary. (File: Interface\AddOns\Pitbull\Aura\Aura.lua)

(I belive Cathelyn and Halyon did the same for their UIs.)

You should also be able to customize the setup of buffs and debuffs in collaboration, if you want a very specific setup.
Dare to show me a drawing of how you would like to setup the buffs?

hey was wondering if anyone could help me out with this aura problem. heres a picture of what im taking about:



if there are no buffs on the target, the debuffs will start where the bloodlust is.

however, as you can see, debuffs (hunters mark) always end up on top of the buff line/s (bloodlust, shield) when a target has buffs. which looks really stupid in a raid, when the mob has just one buff, and a full stack of debuffs. ive tried to get it so that when theres both buffs and debuffs on a target, it throws the buff line above the debuffs, but i cant get it to work.

i also tried splitting their positions, but once enough debuffs get put up, it will cover the buff line, because they are now split and it doesnt bump it up. and if i move the starting point for the buffs so high so they arent covered by the debuffs, it looks even more dumb.

anyone know if there is anyway to fix this. ive tried all the check box options, but none of them do it.

This is a strange question, but i would like to know if Pitbull is able to have a seperate threat bar. I see the option to enable it, but all it does is add it to the player or target frame. I would like a completely seperate bar of its own dedicated to threat. Does anyone know if this is possible.

I am unable to open pitbull's menu and I get this error:

ID: 61
Error occured in: Global
Count: 1
Message: LibRockConfig-1.0: Bad return from function "args" for `PitBull'. Expected "table", got "string" ("@cache").

I have reinstalled it and redownloaded it to no avail. Can anyone tell what's wrong?

im trying to get the debuffs below the buffs if there are both on a target. if there arent buffs, the debuffs start at the buffs are at. however, once a buff shows up, they get moved up a line. i can do this by splitting the two, but then the buffs will always be very high above, and wont snap back down if there are no debuffs.

essentially i am trying to invert the two positions, without having to use the "split" option. so that either buffs or debuffs can be the first row (one closest to the target frame), if the other isnt present.

This is off-topic, but who is the guy on all the small buff icons? I've seen that image on thottbot etc several times also. Is it some kind of joke I am missing?

My problem is mainly with the raid frames buffs and debuffs. I have the perfectraid style vertical raid bars on one side of my screen. I want on the left of the name to just show the buff my class can do, if I'm a Druid, it will show Mark of the Wild. On the right, I want it to show the debuffs I can remove. It'd also be nice if I can add to the list things like Mortal Strike or any sort of effect that reduces healing so I know to spam heals. I messed around with it and I couldn't get it to work like this elegantly.
