I had a really weird error with pitbull (presumably, since its never happened before) while I was tanking Nightbane. The biggest transparent block of white ever just popped up on half my screen. For no reason at all. Happened to a friend in a BG too, so maybe something to do with raids. It went away with alt+z but still really odd, and -very- annoying

In case anyone involved with Pitbull reads this (I'm at work so can't log in to wowace at present), a few comments:
Overall, really nice - as a Druid I particularly like the built in fsr ticker, energy ticker and mana bar when in forms.
Moving around group frames in raid, the group will often "stick" to the cursor, especially if someone joins/leaves or zones in.
Need to tune performance in raids - I was getting regular "hiccups" in gameplay (screen freeze momentarily) with a full raid up. these idsappeared when I disabled raid frames module and went back to using Grid only.
Configuration mode still a little buggy with respect to the buff/debuff placeholders when you start changing a lot of positioning options.
I think I'm going to persist with this one though - really like the way it's going

Can it tell/ show where I have laid my precious HoT's?

I've have done the same the first day I tried it, and found no way to re-enable the addon.
It was flagged as "enabled" on the character selection screen ofthe server.
It also worked properly on my other characters, just not on my main character.
I fixed it by deleting the pitbull.lua in the WTF/.../SavedVariables files, but I still hope there is an way without remaking the whole UI ...
So, any suggestions would be appreciated. And typing /pitbull to get it back didn't work, since the add-on wasn't running :'(

Happened to me as well once. Or similar, I just wanted to get rid of the FuBar Addon and disabled it. Pitbull stayed on, the FuBar addon went away. But after relogg, the addon was completely disabled. I loaded it in-game with MCP (master control program, for all those tron fans of old ) but it did not appear. However it was loaded and a /pb resume or so activated it finally.
(Note you can suspend / resume many ace2 addons on the fly)
Definitly a minor issue that could be fixed is its load-behavior. Since I use DeuceCommander, I don't need an additional icon in the Fubar and like to deactivate the FuBar part (guess I can rip it out myself but should be configurable, imho)

I have this problem a lot in BG's but it doesn't seem to be an issue in normal PvE raids. It makes me think its down to be people joining and leaving the raid (and pitball having to 'resort' the list of people in the raid).
I'm not sure if there is a work around for this, but its quite frustrating.
Otherwise i'm thrilled with the look, feel, options .... well, actually i love pretty much everything these frames do.

Yup, if the code can be optimized to smooth out the glitches it's a "keeper" for me.

Has anyone seen how to resize the combo points? They're terribly small by default and I tried for a little bit to resize myself in the layout .luas, but saw no results.

Looks pretty good, but the most annoying issue I have is a very short buy very distinct "hitch" every time I leave combat. Swapped out AGUF for this and it started, noticed a similar problem mentioned both in this thread and in the PitBull thread at wowace.
Also, has anyone figured out a way to disable the health recolor gradient? You can choose what colors you want the healthbar to change to in the global settings, but there doesn't appear to be an option to disable it.

I like it, mostly, but I have incredible amounts of glitches with the buff/debuffs; they rarely show up, the textures get glitched across the main frame, etc.
Since I mostly don't need buff/debuff display (I like it, but I don't need it), I'm still using Pitbull and working around it, but it really would be nice.

Latest version of Pitbull is misbehaving big time. Unit frames for Player, Target and Party are being faded out by spell icons. It is really annoying.

I got the exact same problem, really annoying. Was gonna try updating pitbull during the raid to see if it was gone, but if you say the latest version still does it, it won't matter. :\

For me it was fixed when I went with a different layout -- aBF I think? Seerah definitely produced problems for me (which is unfortunate because that's the layout I want.) I keep updating and hoping it'll be fixed.
Turning off buff/debuff display also solves the problem (although introduces the problem of not having buff/debuff display.)

I'm still having an issue. It did it again today I did a fresh install. Currently I disabled them, logged out, Deleted them out of my WTF Folder the Pitbull.lua files and even the interface files. Emptied recycling bin and still there was no luck. All the /pb, /pitbull, and anything else I could find didn't work at getting me an icon. Are there any other files I need to download for this to work easier?
Edit: Solved, what you have to do is do this script command:
/script PitBull:ToggleActive(true)
For future reference.

Still using agUF, Pitbull sounds interesting but I think i'll wait a bit longer for all the bugs to be ironed out. Anyone test it in 2.1 and see if its compatible?
The mouse-locks-to-frame bug I think is just a general bug in either frame mods or Blizzard code, it happens to me occasionally with aguf and sws and many other things. I just do a /console reload and it fixes itself.

These look very promising. I recently uninstalled AG because of it randomly reseting on me, not showing party members, and haven't found a replacement since. Will post my feedback whenever the servers come up.

I picked this up last night and have been tweaking on it a little. I did however originally try to download it with wowaceupdater and it said there were no public versions available. Is this a problem with my updater configuration or is it because the mod is in development?

Just thought I'd add some additional praise for one of the newer releases of PitBull--the addition of not only a 5-second rule pulse along a mana bar (and energy ticker/pulse!) but the addition of an in-form mini-mana bar as well (something I'd given up since DruidBar broke a while back).

I've had some of the same problems others have described. Older versions of PitBull work, but after updating to the most recent a few nights ago things like the EnergySpark complain if I enable them. A few of the issues were fixed by downloading and updating the dependency libraries by hand (DogTag for example), but this is fairly tedious.
Great unit frames tho, I can definitely live with a few annoyances here and there for all the utility and functionality these provide.

Seems things are back to normal, performed a full update using WowAce. Pitbull is now a package rather than a normal addon, should be in the top section of your updater. The plugins for it are in the usual alphabetical place.
Understandably for a new addon, it's getting updated pretty rapidly - I actually did 2 updates and got a new version each time.

I've had my buffs / debuffs lost for 2 weeks now.
Hope it gets fixed soon or someone tells me what I might be doing wrong. I've played with everything in the config I could find.

Do you get the buff/debuff placeholders in config mode? If not the likelihood is that you disabled them somewhere. Try also changing the positions/size etc.
One thing to note if you are only missing either buffs or debuffs. If you position them in the same place and do not split them in the options they both overwrite each other so you will only see one of the two.

I had problems last night with some of my buffs not showing. I'd get mark of the wild to show on everyone, and thorns, but I couldn't get rejuv, regrowth, and lifebloom to all show at the same time. Usually only 1 of the 3 would produce a buff icon (at random), but occasionally I'd get 2 or none. It was really odd. I've only had the texture glitch across the main frame once, and a simple /reloadui fixed it.
The version I updated from controlled the buffs fine, but the spark (moving line for 5 second rule / energy) would give me errors when shifting out of cat form. It used to have a continual spark so even if you had full energy you would know when your next tick would be. In cat form, at least, they seem to have gotten rid of the continual spark, and it now only shows up for me until I reach full energy. I'm guessing that's how they fixed the error messages though.

Make sure to change max buffs to 40, even if its on smart it still has the buffs then hides the ones that you don't put up.
