Here is the answer to my question that someone posted on the wow forums. I thought I would share in case anyone had similar issues. In a nutshell, it had to do with mousebindings and not the addon.

"This is a common occurance if you bind to a mouse button. Unit frames eat mouse clicks because they're designed to respond to them. Thus, the click is consumed before it even reaches the macro bindings. Move it to a standard keyboard key, use your mouse software to rebind the buttons to keyboard keys, or get the addon clique.

What is even odder is that some spells need different modifiers. PWS and Flash Heal work without any problems and doesn't matter what the modifiers are, (ctrl/alt, etc). Greater Heal and Penance need the modifier to be alt, and will not work if it is ctrl.

You have keybind conflicts. Go into your keybind settings and look for ctrl+hotkey or alt+hotkey, or shift+hotkey and change/remove the offending keybinds.

The bad news for all of the EJ readership (except for me and three other non-raiders) is that Pitbull 4 has no raid frames yet.

The good news is that it has been impressively refactored from Pitbull 3, with a super-flexible layout system, better performance, and easier configuration. I'm using it full-time now and totally enjoying it.

(PB 4 separated layout definitions from the actual frames. When you first start it, you edit the Normal layout, which by default is applied to all frames you choose to display. But you can define other layouts, then apply them to any frames you choose. This lets you, for example, apply one layout to Player, Target, and Focus, another to Target of Target, and Target of Focus, and yet another to player and party pets. Tweaking the layout then changes the appearance of all of the frames that use the layout.)

Lot's of healers use another raidframe addon for their main work (Grid, mostly). So if having no raidframes is the only thing missing right now, that wouldn't prevent it from being used a lot right now.

Last time I looked into PB4 it was missing buffs/auras. Is that fixed now ?

They're in there. I like the option (can't remember if it's new or not) to have buffs below the unit frame and debuffs above. Easy.

Right now pitbull has a few problems, i just recently started using it and it would seem it has a bit of small bugs.
One of them is the fact that when you lose or gain hp due to damage and healing the art on the bar messes up and it can be difficult to tell exactly were your life really sits.
Another big one that will force me back to perl is the fact that the format i choose does not stck to my character when i log on and off and i do not know how to fix such a problem.

however the idea of this mod is amazing, i absolutly love vetrical health bars.

if anyone knows how to fix my format problem send me a private message, i really want to use this addon

Is it possible to have the Party (and party target, etc.) frames to automatically disappear when you enter a raid group? I already have Grid to fill my raid frame needs, but it's a pain to have to turn the party frames on and off depending on whether I'm doing Naxx or heroics.

There should be an option for this in the default UI even, I think it got added along with Blizzard's raid frames.
In hindsight, not 100% sure this also works with addons...

It's possible to hide the frames in raid with Pitbull 3 but not yet with Pitbull 4 that's still in alpha stage and lacks a lot of options.

Bar textures only load with smartycat mana bar how do I make them load all the time.

I checked through this and found a couple posts about changing this and though they said you just need the shared lib media I am not sure which file folder it goes in.

Here is the issue I am getting:

Strangely when I have the smartycat mana bar running on my druid it will look to the textures that get loaded in that and as well as getting a bunch of bar texture options I can make my own which I did.

These do not load though when smartycat mana bar is not loaded and even if it is they won't load unless I am using my druid toon.

I am not sure what is telling pibull to look at that library but need to figure out how to do it without it needed smartycat mana bar.

Hello everyone,

First post here

I started WoW again lately and decided to give this UI a try. However while configuring the UI, this lil naughty text appeared.

As u can see, the lil Cooldown text is right smack at the middle of the screen and I couldn't find any solutions to get rid of it. Anyone else having this issue?

Also to add, I am using Mik's Scrolling BT and OmniCC at the moment.. Could they be culprit? (although i highly doubt so)

Please advice.. The UI is a beauty, something like the old Ag_UI..

That's ora2. You should be able to disable it on the configuration page, or move it to the area the screen you prefer. I think the default movement is shift-click the title and drag.

Hi - I started with a custom UI (Muqq's) that I have since completely customized. But, it appears, the original author used some custom colors for Pitbull's power bars--i.e., gray instead of the default blue for mana, etc. I want to revert back to the Blizzard default colors, but can't see any way of doing it inside Pitbull. I found the Power colors configuration under Global, and each one has all of the sliders as well as copy/paste. But I don't see a "reset" button there. Maybe there's a LUA file I can delete somewhere to revert? Thanks for any help.
