Sometimes, since last patch, I've been getting this weird error where my combo point dots and target debuffs have been attaching themselves to the energy tick timer spark on my energy bar. It's really a strange bug, and doesn't happen terribly often. Has anyone found a fix for this? I have kept updating, and it seems to be somewhat better, but still happens once in a while.

As is usual with newer addons under rapid development, it doesn't do any harm to delete all the folders plus the config lua files in your WTF folder and do a fresh download. I did this a few versions ago and the buggy behaviour I had stopped completely.
Now all I have to do is wait for Buffalo2 to fix the weird buffs behaviour that started yesterday :P

I've also noticed this happening quite a bit. Extremely annoying in raids seeing 40 debuffs scrolling across the bottom of my display. The only thing I've found that stops it (temporarily) is a UI reload as it will continue to happen as I switch targets otherwise.

Speaking of Buffalo2, for some reason my elixir timer was resetting every time I got Pray of Fortitude refreshed... so even though I really had ~15mins left on my Major Agility, Buffalo2 said I had a full hour.

I just attempted to switch over to Pitbull yesterday, by downloading the latest version:
PitBull.zip 2007-May-30 19:00:46 530.7K application/zip
I must say I'm very impressed with the features and layout of the mod, except there is one problem that is driving me crazy and was hoping to get some help.
I like to have my Player, Target, ToT, and Pet to all look the same and I have been able to match up all but my Player bar. For some reason no matter what options I choose I can't move the name text or class text from above the frame. What I'd like is the name text to be in the left section of the health bar and class text in the left section of the power bar.
It works perfectly for all of my other target frames, however it will not move at all for my player box. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah if you got it yesterday we are dealing with the same release candidate. I know it's a minor thing, but it is sort of a annoyance. If anyone has a suggestion I'd be glad to hear it

Is there an easy way to implement Target of Target of Target? I got used to this feature with x-perl, and, while it has limited application, I did like having it especially for PvP to help get a feel for who was doing what.

It isn't enabled by default, but I know I was able to turn on ToToT just by poking around a little. Try the main pitbull menu.

A simple one this but I've been left scrathcing my head for an inordinate amount of time trying to achieve it. How do i set this to show only the group Im in when part of a raid group? Ive tried setting the grouping to by raid group but that doesnt seem to work.
Thanks.

Don't use the raid frames, use the party frames. Make sure you don't have the 'Hide party frames while in a raid' option active.

I like the look of Pitbull and its functionality but I wonder if there's a way to disable something as it eats up a lot of memory especially as I only use it in parties. I use IceHud for my main display and stick with sraid frames for raids. Should I just stick with the default party interface for 5-mans or is there a low memory footprint mod out there? Or a way to make Pitbull use less memory? Thanks in advance.

My screen seems to freeze/choke every so often with this addon enabled. More noticeable in 25 mans than in 10 mans. Is anyone else experiencing this issue/know what is causing it?

The Pitbull package has 29 distinct folders. Each of those folders is in essence an addon. That means if you are not using something than it either unloads or never loads. Play around with config and make the package work for you.

Has anyone had any luck putting the Buffs/Debuffs *INSIDE* the unit frames in Raid mode? This drove me nuts for hours, and I finally just gave up and disabled both ... it only seems to want to display at anchor points OUTSIDE each unit frame, and I'm using it to resemble Grid, only with slightly more information present.
Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to be able to see Priest Buff/Debuffs on each separate unitframe in Raid Mode (with 25 frames).

I get the same thing, it is pretty much unplayable for me in 25 man raids. I get 2-3 sec screen freezes every 15 seconds or so with this addon enabled during 25 man raids. There were some nice features that looked like they would be useful, but trying to play with the constant pauses isn't very workable. And since this only happens during larger raids, it is not something that I have the time to try and tweak when the conditions are right for the slowdowns.

Unrelated to PitBull, but I'm using GridStatusMissingBuffs (from files.wowace.com) to see whenever anyone in my raid group is missing AI/AB with Grid. It would work for priesty buffs, too.

As far as I can tell, Pitbull doesn't seem to have an option to assign or display MT targets. Can anyone recommend a separate mode for this? Preferably one that won't hog vast amounts of system resources.

Guys, read the whole thread - to reduce lag DISABLE some of the functions you don't need. All the pitbull addons are enabled by default and are far more than anyone really needs. For instance, do you need the heal amount to be displayed on every unit frame for the whole raid?

Last I checked Ctraid was still "bugged" whereby it prevents you from moving raid groups around in combat, so there's not much point in checking to see if it works.
I've tried using ora2 to set MT's but sadly they still wont show up as pitbull frames - just the standard ora2 frames. It's actually surprising that pitbull doesn't have an option to setup MT's considering there's a whole module dedicated to MT target support. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious..
