This is a strange question, but i would like to know if Pitbull is able to have a seperate threat bar. I see the option to enable it, but all it does is add it to the player or target frame. I would like a completely seperate bar of its own dedicated to threat. Does anyone know if this is possible.
Thanks!~

I am unable to open pitbull's menu and I get this error:
ID: 61
Error occured in: Global
Count: 1
Message: LibRockConfig-1.0: Bad return from function "args" for `PitBull'. Expected "table", got "string" ("@cache").
I have reinstalled it and redownloaded it to no avail. Can anyone tell what's wrong?

im trying to get the exact opposite of this:
im trying to get the debuffs below the buffs if there are both on a target. if there arent buffs, the debuffs start at the buffs are at. however, once a buff shows up, they get moved up a line. i can do this by splitting the two, but then the buffs will always be very high above, and wont snap back down if there are no debuffs.
essentially i am trying to invert the two positions, without having to use the "split" option. so that either buffs or debuffs can be the first row (one closest to the target frame), if the other isnt present.

This is off-topic, but who is the guy on all the small buff icons? I've seen that image on thottbot etc several times also. Is it some kind of joke I am missing?

My problem is mainly with the raid frames buffs and debuffs. I have the perfectraid style vertical raid bars on one side of my screen. I want on the left of the name to just show the buff my class can do, if I'm a Druid, it will show Mark of the Wild. On the right, I want it to show the debuffs I can remove. It'd also be nice if I can add to the list things like Mortal Strike or any sort of effect that reduces healing so I know to spam heals. I messed around with it and I couldn't get it to work like this elegantly.

Alright, I've been playing with the options but I just can't seem to make it work. I recently switched over to Pitbull from X-perl. One of my favorite features from Perl was the ability to have your raid frames fade out when someone is not in range. It definitely helped on spead out fights to make sure I wasn't wasting time attempting to put heals on someone not near me. I've since switched to Pitbull and have not been able to get the same feature working.
I have range checking enabled under the Pitbull global settings, but it won't fade out the raid bars. My UI looks like so:

So I'm wondering, is anyone else having this issue? And if not, how do I solve it? I would really appreciate any assistance as I love the look I've been able to achieve with Pitbull and would hate to have to switch back.

It's possible:
Pitbull
> Global Configuration
>> Range Checking
Enable it and be happy.
And on the subject of the "dummy" icon, wowwiki describes it as well: Samwise Didier - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft

I was finally able to make it work. After looking through every catagory, I came to find that it wasn't checked in the Modules subset. It looks like that is required as well.
SOOOOO happy now! =]

I guess I just suck but this is not working the way I described.
I want my personal debuffs on a target to be two times the size of a normal buff. You can see what I mean in that invincible movie where that rogue solos Gruul. His debuffs on gruul, the raids debuffs and then his buffs below this.
If you can tell me how to do this id appreciate it.
Thanks.

Pitbull r74494
Anyone have a problem getting pitbull to load properly in r74494.
I tried clean install and everything no joy.
The problem is that it doesn't load into wow and is not recognized by addon preferences.
It therefore fails to load and displays the default blizzard uf.

Yep, I just updated Pitbull, and I can see it in the addon list, before I enter the game, but it doesn't load when I'm ingame.
And ofc, I can't find the previous version now, and I overwrote the one I had. :/

Here's a fix:
For those experiencing the same problem, just go to your AddOns folder, Pitbull, and there should be a file called Pitbull.toc It may not have the .toc suffix, but there's only one file named that anyway.
Double click it, open it with Wordpad, and remove the # in front of the line where it embeds.xml

I can't see enemy buffs with this or turn off raid icons (clogs screen in battlegrounds). I haven't managed to be able to fix these problems yet, how does this work?

I just rebuilt my UI and I now find that when I try and change the Bar Texture in Pitbull the only one available is the Blizzard default. Before I redid it I had many different ones to choose from. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to add more to PB?
Edit:
I switched to the newest SharedMedia and that did the trick.

Quick question regarding ToT, etc -
When I'm healing, there are several occasions I'm eying the ToT bar to get a jump on X ability that Y boss randomly targets. Zul'jin grievous throws, Rage Winterchill icebolts, etc.
I've noticed with pitbull that sometimes, I'll get a very clear ToT switch, pop off my gheal and be on my way. Other times, it's extremely quick, almost flickering from one unit and back to the tank. And more frequently, no discernable ToT switch. I've frapsed it just to make sure I'm not being overly subjective, it definitely happens.
Is there any way to prevent this? If I switch back to the old bliz ui, will I see faster ToT updates? As a healer, it's really clutch, it can totally make the difference between an offhand cast that you don't have to worry about and scrambling to make up lost ground. On the other hand, it might just be how the game works, but I'd love to know either way.

So, i recently got Acacaizm Minime which comes with some version of pitbull and it took alot of adjusting but eventually i figured most of it out.
The only problem i have yet to figure out how to fix is that in raid, all of the groups come up on my screen and I can't find where to either check which groups are on my screen or make it only display my own. It seems that my settings for party are overridden by the settings for raid when i am in a raid. The only solution i have been able to use is to disable raid so that i have no groups whatsoever on my screen in raid. I assume there is a way to set-up having just my party displayed during a raid situation but does anyone know how i might go about doing this?

I'll have a look when the servers come back up. I know it's possible, since that's how I have my frames set up, but Blizzard strikes once again.

Just go to the options for your Party frame, under Others, there's an option to show or hide the 5-man frames in a raid. Toggle as appropriate.
And disable the rest of the raid frames if you don't need them or are using some other mod for it, of course.
