I love the SpellAlert mod - it just puts text on the screen when nearby mobs start castingspells - but since TBC, it's been also reporting similar actions by groupmates/raidmates. It looks like even the "updated" versions have been abandoned, though. No updates since December. (This is the most recent update I can find: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...fiedagain.html )

Are there other mods that do the same thing, or is there an updated version anywhere?

WitchHunt provides similar functionality.

Antagonist tracks enemy casts, cooldowns and buffs by adding bars denoting maximum duration.

WitchHunt shows you text when mobs/players gain buffs or start a spellcast, but it doesn't show durations.
