Sorry to resurrect a thread from the dead, but is Aloft still being maintained or is there an alternative addon that does the same?

Aloft still works but the Threat component hasn't been working since Threat 2.0 was launched and it's going to be mighty handy for tanking Muru adds if available. I'd replace the tag fields but it seems the type of DogTags it uses is very out of date too and doesnt accept the current threat expressions.

Aloft is working for me, as far as I can remember I only had to do a small correction in locals (but I'm not using all options)

The point in having Aloft show threat-bars is, you dont have to have the unit targeted to see AOE-Threat. As a result "Ptibull does it" is no sufficient answer to the request of adding multi-threat to Aloft after 2.4 changes.

Rogue talents are hard because the class is ultimately very mathy. Without a finite resource like mana, it's easy to analyze every possible move for its cost efficiency and ultimate damage delivery.

I think it's probably Skinner that's duplicating what Aloft does. PitBull doesn't do nameplates afaik, but I know for a fact Skinner does.

I believe Aloft has had no major changes since December 2007, and is only being maintained in the loosest sense of the term.

Correct, and the author of Aloft (and Assessment), Roartindon, stopped playing WoW back in the April-May timeframe.

Looks like there's a gap in the market again then - on any fight with multiple targets (Felmyst P2, Muru etc) it would be incredibly useful to be able to see threat on nameplates for every mob.

Ideally I would to see how much of a threat lead I had compared to the next highest threat if it's targetting me. Otherwise if it's targetting someone else, how much of their threat I have as a percentage.

As a side tank on m'uru I have solved this with DogTags and CowTip. Added a line which shows MAX in green color if I have aggro and the amount of threat missing if I not have aggro on the mob. If someone is getting close in threat it shows MAX in yellow. This way I can just mouse-over the mob to see my threat.
