Im looking to get away from using CT raidtracker and decided to try out NRT but im having trouble finding the command to generate a string I can use for EQDKP. Can someone familiar with the mod clue me in please. Any other useful slash command would be great too. thanks in advance

Does anyone have list of predefined values for EQDKP for TBC raiding? I wouldn't mind looking over how certain items are being priced in general.

You are probably thinking of EPGP v1 where there was a fixed raid window. This is now removed and replaced with a decay % that is used to decay EPs and GPs after each raid. The decay is configurable to any value you want.

I think a relatively unknown solution is something called MorgDKP. I've used it a few times and it offers a decent solution to our problem. We were using zero sum bidding system that was an open auction one(SWAPS). It(SWAPS) just didn't work because it didn't offer a nice tracking for a website. On the other hand, MorgDKP has a dkp string, MANY different auction types, and an in-game tracker for DKP; it's a great addon and I'd suggest trying it out. As far as standby goes, if what you want to do is award DKP to people that are waiting but not in the raid, just use one of the 15 leftover raid slots and pile them in there. EPGP awards DKP based on time spent in the raid however, and not only when loot drops, so this may or may not be what you're looking for.

Actually EPGP awards points whenever you want. You can award on boss kills, over time, give on time bonuses or when there is a full moon :-) When and why you want to award DKPs is entirely up to the policy of the guild.

What's NRT and where do i find it?

I'm currently using a standard EQDKP and adds everything by hand and it's getting pretty dull.

We're using a pretty weird system that is based on a zero sum system but rewards points even if nothing was looted, if it was just a wipenight and so on.

NRT is an ACE mod, you can get it at http://www.wowace.com/files. It does not generate an XML string for inputting into EQDKP. All you can do is cut/paste from the list it generates in game. That's still about 10 times better than dealing with CTRaidTracker's crap.

I have newbie question. I have EQDKP up and difference between Events and Raids is? Do events contain raids or is it vice versa?

EDIT: I could not locate NRT anywhere on wowace.com last night, thankfully I had copy saved in my backup Interface directory. If need be I will upload my copy somewhere later on tonight.

What is the command to generate this in game list? For the system we are currently using this sounds perfect as attendance is all I need.

I have been using Fubar since the first of ever, and NRT seems to automatically hook into that (Fubar is, to the best of my understanding, an Ace2'd TitanPanel)... which gives it a handy place to just click, and I have it set to autohide. If it doesn't register /NRT as a wild guess, I'd suspect it very well doesn't have a hook. A real quick search of the LUA for "register" (which I think is a token in the LUA command to nab a slash command) turns up no relevant results.

Or is your problem one that one of my officers had? I don't mean to be insulting, sometimes it helps to walk through the process:

Top of my window is where Fubar is, mouse over and find NRT. A drop down box appears with

(I'm going from memory, but that's the gist of it)

I click on 05/03 Karazhan (because that's where I was when I took the attendance I want to look at - I've taken raid attendance in Shattrath City when I was sitting).

A big box with an orange titlebar pops up, and a list of names.
I click inside it, putting a cursor in there.
Ctrl-A (or just manually click and drag your mouse to select all the text)
Ctrl-C

alt tab to a browser window with eqDKP open, get to the page where you're adding a raid and it wants to know attendees (aka, where you'd click on two dozen names if you were doing this by hand)

Click on the RIGHT HAND side box (the empty one where names would go as you click on the left hand side box).

Ctrl-V

Blam, you've got your attendance. Once you know what you're looking for, it's just a click, copy, paste. Five keypresses.

A mod that seems to be engineered for my delight. I've outlined the above process for using it's result, how it gets it is pretty simple: You can manually click on first button on the fubar dropdown, or just wait for an epic to show up in a drop box and answer "yes" to "take attendance now." It'll automatically populate the list of names with everyone in your raid, and then give a /g spammy warning so people in your other karazhan and/or sitting can send you a tell to get attendance credit.

I found it at files.wowace.com - it seems to not be there, presently. Maybe the author decided it was not ready for prime time? A shame. It presently works perfectly, for me.

I just updated with WAU this past weekend and I did get a new NRT version. Either it's been taken off the SVN very recently or for some odd reason it only shows up when using WAU. There is no official ACE thread for it or anything, it seems to be a mod that the author (Rabbit) threw toghether for whatever personal purpose and left it at that.

WAU 1.7 had NRT up there right as I looked that up just now, WAU 1.5 did not (or I am dumb, which is a very real possibility).

I use:

Vanilla EQDKP installation using a boss kill point system
CT_RT_EQDKP_Modded(I futher modded it work with TBC)
CT_RT_Importer

After every boss is slain, I start the snapshot of the raid to record attendance. Most of the time it records who gets loot or not, but this is negligble as loot is so much easier to do than personal. Copy the string and paste into the dkp page and bam. DKP done in 2 mins. Enjoy.

I'm examining this at the moment as well and would appreciate any input into how you have arrived at your prices.
