Proximity mods

I remember C'thun Warner as the first case of a mod that dealt specifically with proximity. What I'm looking for is a little different.

I was playing AV yesterday and noticing once again that people always leave healing range in the middle of casts. Is there any addon that displays how many of x class are in range, or say how many healers are in range of you? It wouldn't be for me to use myself since I am always in range of myself. Rather it would be for others to know "oh there are only 2 healers in range of me and oh look one of them is in cat form."

Is there anything like that?

Most raid frames will fade the frames of people out of range of your heals, Grid, Perfect Raid and sRaidFrames have options for this if this is what you're after.

For non healer classes, I'd use Grid which can fade out everyone who's out of range so you can see if you are near a healer.

Though being near a "healing" class and getting healed in a pug AV are two different things entirely

Pitbull has also a range check option where the target window will fade a bit if out of range.

I'm using pitbull right now so I think turning on the range fade will save me some frustration. Good tip, thanks.
