I may be mistaken, but I thought that they were planning on lowering the combat log detection range, in large part to keep people from catching a glimpse of opposing arena teams as they prepare to fight. While the 200 something combat log range that we have now works out just fine, it might not always be available in the future.
Perhaps i'm going blind, but in the reporting screen I don't see a "report to raid" option? Got guild, party etc, but one that would be useful is raid!
Some sort of syncing ability with other recount users would be great, at the moment the data doesn't marry up to synced swstats data at all well.

And then there are fights like Karathress.
It was reduced initially in the 2.1 PTR but its back up again. Karathress's room is actually pretty small (2.0 changes btw actually made things longer inside of instances than they had previously been example fights like Thaddius phase 1 you couldn't see or get logs from half your raid though 2.0 changed it). The only fight with the issues is actually Al'ar from my testing.
And... syncing is coming just no syncing with other damage trackers.
Thanks a lot works now. One thing I'm confused with now is the configuration options. I can't figure out how to make it so damage meters don't show NPCs and just people in the raid.
I've been looking through the options and filters, but is there a way to look at graphs/tables for damage against a single mob? Or healing against a single target?
For isntance, when I hover over a bar in Damage Done, I can see the top 3 damage targets of that person. Say on Morogrim or Vashj, I can normally see only all fight data for that instance, which includes adds, but I'm interested in seeing a list of people and their damage to Morogrim or Vashj only. Or all Healing done against our MT in a given instance. Is that possible?

Use the arrows on the detail window to get this type of data.
Example: Say you want to know how much damage Morogrim has taken from various players you would click Morogrim on the Damage Taken Window and it should show you a list on the Detail Window (no scrolling added yet I really should do that).
Also there is no reporting yet in.
No graphs of this type of data since it would dramatically increase data saved.
One thing I'm considering is adding Boss Modules that allow you to see the saved data for each phase of a fight.

Alright in the config window NPC's are called Mobs.
Trivial are gray mobs
Non-Trivial are mobs with levels you can see
Bosses are considered mobs with skulls to you
Next the First column is do they show in the main window. The other columns are for is data recorded for them or not of certain types.
2nd Column - Record Data: This controls if any data is recorded at all for this entry
3rd Column - Record Time Data: This controls will you record time based data so you can display graph of their stats
4th Column - Record Death Data: Do you want the past 25 combat log messages of their deaths recorded or not?
5th Column - Future Filtering of Buff Data: does nothing yet
In case you forget, scroll your mouse over the icons.
Syncing has now been added and should be completely invisible to you as a user.
Though, its not gotten a lot of testing so there might be some issues in raid situations but we will see.
Should be completely invisible to users and when you reset your data you only reset your data.
When I reset my data, say in a raid, is it just going to repopulate with synced data as time goes on? Or is there a way to hold syncing until I call for one again?
I realize I haven't tested it yet, but perhaps an option/switch for manual or automatic syncing is nessecary?

The syncing is for getting messages as they come in. It doesn't do backwards syncing of data. So if you reset you will only get future information and no previous information.
Bunch of changes/additions
-Time Based Recording of threat data is back in
-What threat target is being used has been completely overhauled
-If you set the main window to threat it now tells you in the title the threat target
-The number being used for % is now better determined
-Can now integrate the graph data
-Can now normalize the graph data
The last 2 will be useful for when I add in comparing time data.
Hmm i think there is something supposed to happen if i uncheck "integrate" - at the moment nothing happens so when i check "integrate" again the graph gets integrated another time …
And maybe you could add an average DPS graph ( dmg integrate / time elapsed )
Was wondering if there is a feature to merge pets. I've read through the thread and did not find a discussion of this. Perhaps I've just skipped over it by mistake. Awesome addon btw.
Massively getting this error :

EDIT : Seems like always when people get buffs.
Alright fixed >_> don't know how I missed that one. It was actually caused by heals.

While sitting around Shattrath this afternoon. The instant I reset the data from last night's Gruul kill, the errors ceased. I may or may not have also been getting the error last night during Gruul, I'm not certain, but I do know I was getting a massively repeating error last night, and this one was growing at about the rate of last night's error.
I experienced some kind of redudancy error or something today when I tried the nice addon. During Vashj when I tried to CTRL+click a name, the game would just freeze, but the light of the HDD didn't show any intense thinking so it just remained like that for 2-3 minutes, then I just closed the game. Anyone else experienced this?
Also I am not sure if it's implemented, but is a way to track overall raid DPS anywhere, or for example the DPS curves of 2 or more people at the same graph?
On most encounters, the dps curves are pretty messy, is there a way to fit a mean dps curve or to scale the graph timewise/dpswise in order to smooth it?
thanks for the amazing addon btw...looking forward for more updates!
Personally i like the way this discussion is going. I would LOVE to see something that i found on curse but too late It hasnt been updated since TBC
This is like the full raid evaluation. Maybe like the ideal raid leaders tool if you like
Hey, just wanted to throw a few suggestions for this mod~
-Current DPS as a figure into the title of the personal graphs [ctr-click'd].
-A permanent standalone window that acts the same as the 'ctr-clicked' one but you don't have to resize it/put it up after every login....
-The option of a set graph scale on the personal graphs, in addition to the realtime scaling currently present
I'm really enjoying this mod at the present, keep up the good work! =)
