Combat Log Range (again)

I'm aware that there is/used-to-be a way of increasing the range on the combat log beyond 40 yards, using the console commands:

/console SET CombatLogRangeParty "150"

However, I've noticed that all my logs have gone back to 40 yards recently. Im not sure if im just the victim of a set of weird coincidences, or they actually reduced the max range back to this.

More likely i guess that this was Blizzard's fix which enable people to obtain combat log information about their opponents in the Arena.

Anyway, has anyone experienced this problem or managed to find a work around?

It's probably one of your addons doing it. Most likely damagemeters/swstats or boss mods.

Is there a way in game where you can get a report of your combat log range, via / command of some sort?

Is there a way to alter the combat log range in the addons themselves so they don't reset it?

Rather, I'm sure there must be, since it's being reset. Does anyone know off the top of their head what lines of code need to be changed?

(I'm at work, so I can't browse through it myself and would love to fix this before tonight's raid)

Yeah, it seems that the problem was solved by manually entering the console information each log in (or getting a mod to do it for you)

Thanks for the help

If that's the case, it is a mod that's resetting the range for you when you log on, or off. Try to disable this or that mod till it stops happening if you really want to know.
