My eCasting bar says that it's incompatible. I have downloaded all the versions out there and can't seem to find one that works. I have even disabled all my add-ons to see which one it's incompatible with but I cant find it. I would also be willing to use another casting bar but I cant seem to find anything :-(.

I'll be telling all my friends tonight about this. Quartz is sexy! (replaces two mods for me too, since I was using Sorren's Timers to see the global cooldown.)

A tad buggy, but that will pass, and it's certainly solid enough to raid with right now.

Something to do with tradeskills went buggy for me the other day, but apart from that it's one of the smoothest introductions to a mod I've seen yet. I tried it out the first day I found it and disabled eCB immediately.

Not quite sure if this is a bug, but it's definitely a feature that I'm missing from having used eCB for a very long time and trying out Quartz tonight. If you target yourself with a heal, you will see both a "target" bar and a "player" bar. Previously with eCB, you would only see the "player" bar and the mod was coded to hide the "target" bar in cases where you were healing yourself.

Just spent a good 10 minutes looking through both mods trying to find an option in either one associated to this feature, but it appears eCB put it in as an author's preference with no way to modify it directly, and Quartz has decided to forgo implementing it entirely.

Seeing two bars when you heal yourself is definitely providing a distraction to me so far, hopefully I will get used to it. Am I missing some configuration option in Quartz to change this?

I agree, this must be one of the most usefull addons I ever used. I never thought addons could actually improve DPS, but this addon has shown it is possible, and by quite a large amount as well. The only problem I'm occuring at the moment is me watching my castbar closely more than watching the actual surroundings - but I guess that's just something to get used to.

Same here. The really funny thing is.. the latency bar like a mini-game in itself! It makes spamming the MT a lot more fun

Fortunately, I'm not affliction specced at the moment! I had to move DoTimer closer to the castbar so i only have to move my eyes a few pixels to the left to see the timers, but even then, i tend to miss a couple of immolation ticks.

Another problem is if i get interrupted just as casting reached the red part, and i end up /stopcasting the spell before it completes. Really annoying.

For some reason, Quartz does not like Tbags. Has anyone else had that problem or found a similar bag mod to Tbags (all in one, sorts stuff, lets you search, shows you bank, etc.)?

I am going to ask a retarded question. I installed Quartz and I LOVE it... but I can't figure out how to move it easily. Is there a config option to show all the bars so I can move them around? I didn't see anything like that in the config menu, but I very well may just be retarded.

It is pretty depressing to see how much latency I have with my cable modem. The red latency bars I usually get are from 200-700 ms as shown by Quartz weren't noticeable in the past. Now I really notice that delay between key press to spell casting animation :|

The target's buffs aren't showing up so I know when to dispel them, but debuffs show correctly. What am I doing wrong?

Quartz rocks. Replaced ECB. It seems to do many of the things Chron does, too - I'll have to figure those out. (Especially debuffs I cast on my target.)

I haven't used TBags, but someone recommended ArkInventory and MrPlow from WoWAce and I've been quite pleased.

Did the target have Detect Magic cast on them? You still won't be able to see a hostile target's buffs without detect magic.
