I was trying it in PVP first off and raiding later, when the target would cast a buff on itself nothing would show up ala Antagonist. It's like I am missing a library for it or something.

Quartz uses the new 2.1 API that allows you to get timers on buffs/debuffs that you cast. There are no prediction features. For those, you will need something like Antagonist, that guesses durations of spells and displays them. So, if you debuff a target, you can click on him at any time and you'll get an up to date timer on them. If your party member debuffs the target, it will never show up for you on quartz, since it relies on that timing information.

Kinda silly, but that's how blizzard designed their API.

I used Quartz just fine yesterday, although the only feature I use is the cast bar for stopcasting macros and the swing timer for my hunter.

Quartz was working fine for me last night as well. I ran the version 1.8 of WAU prior to logging on to get Autobar unborked and everything worked, other than my Nurfed action bar (which is disabled since I only use it for unit frames) and MendWatch which were displaying errors in BugSack.

It seems to be broken as far as Load on Demand....doesn't load unless you tell it too.

If you're running MCP or any add-on manager similar, you can just tell it to manually load.

Stopped working yesterday for me after i WAU'ed it, then i deleted the directory structure for it, downloaded it again from wowace, and it worked.

I'm no expert but it looked like there had been a big change in directory structure for the addon, going from multiple dirs to only one?

I've only used WAU once, and that was on the last patch day.

Quartz used to have all its modules within' its main directory. After using WAU however, all the modules are seperate folders under Interface/AddOns.

For some reason WAU puts everything into multiple directories, whereas manual download/extract to AddOns tends to give you only one.

WowAceUpdater automatically extracts package addons into its components by default. You can counter this behavior by placing a <addonname>.nounpack folder in your Interface/Addon folder

Well about quartz i get alot that the cast is through though i still see on my unitframes that it still got casting time left
I get this when i get interrupted just when the cast is about to finish
anyone else getting this?

Try doing a /console reloadui and see if it suddenly starts working again. There's a small .. quirk with Quartz and Supply & Demand that causes it not to work without the reloadui unless both are at the latest revision. The only thing I've run into so far.

I haven't noticed if a reloadui fixes this, at work at the moment, but what I found was that Quartz was on the list of Ace2 addons I could see though my fubar addon controlpanel, but was, and still is, showing up as (Loadable on Demand). Then I tried running /ace2 load Quartz after game startup, and that enables it. Still a bit annoying having to do this manual load, or a reloadui, every time you launch the game.

The casting bar states that the Cast has been done and that it have been cast. Although I have been hit and the cast time interrupts with lets say 1 sec. this means i got 1 sec left but Quartz doesnt show it

How do I make quartz show my own castable buffs like in the screenshot where it shows AI / Armor ? couldn't find the option.

Also, is it possible for it to show cooldowns?

NECB seems to include a timer bar for when it detects events near me that as a tank I have an interest in, particularly banish. I can generally see a timer of when the banish is going to end.

Is this kind of functionality available within the Quartz mod and sub mods?

It seems like one of the recent updates to Quartz (got it through WAU) changed how latency is displayed. It used to appear on the right, and when the bar reached the red area, I knew I could hit my stopcasting macro. Now, the latency hidden by default, and when I enable it, it appears on the left. So does that mean the bar now automatically shifts to account for the latency, kinda like how FastCast used to work? I hit my macro when the bar is full? Probably a stupid question, but the flip in behavior confused me a little.

By the sound of it you've selected to "embed" the latency within your bar which, I believe means the bar is "adjusted" for the latency. To get it back as was simply enable but don't embed it.

Has anyone had issues with the InFlight portion of Quartz? I've been using Quartz for a few days and I double and triple checked the InFlight option was enabled and properly installed, but I have yet to see it appear while taking flightpaths.

Edit- I've also done multiple WUA updates as well. :/

I'm at work right now, but I think you're right. I thought I tried it without embed, and it didn't show the latency at all. I'll play with the settings again tonight, though. Thanks for the tip!

It shows up for me, but the standard InFlight bar appears at the same time just below. Which I guess is better than it not working at all; at least I know damn well how long the flight will take
