I had aguf before, but i switched to pitbull recently. Performance is not an issue, sadly only resolution I can use is 1024x768, my eyes hate any refresh rate lower then 85Hz.

Not 100% satisfied yet. Thinking of mucking about with a buff mod and might add some panel behind the chat/combat log.

Spent ages looking for a Vertical HUD - found that I've gotten used to it so much that I muck up horridly without (most noticeable on my Rogue with regard to energy restraints). Just really disliked the rest of the HUDs.



There's 2 bars hidden on the right side which show on MouseOver. Mostly contain silly stuff like the Mount, Water, Travelform Macro, professions etc etc. There's one bar hidden fairly in the middle of the screen, which contains some PvP macros/trinkets.

Bartender 3 + CyCircled as Bar mod.

Yes, and no, it doesn't take up that much memory for me. It uses less than 700 KiB. I don't know an exact number because I only have PerformanceFu showing my top 5.

Stupid question, but you may be stupid like I was so here goes... are you using broken/indepedent libraries? Or all you installing everything with externals? Reason being... I used to curse Autobar for its insane memory usage, but I was just installing everything with externals (which only loads the first instance of each library it comes across.) As such, I had a huge amount of memory usage attributed to Autobar because it was first in alphabetical order and lots of mods were using those instances of the libraries themselves =)

I'm still tweaking it. Need to fix my SCT messages, move my buffs to a better location, etc.

I'm installing with externals which is the default for WAU. I don't quite get what you mean, though I wouldn't say I'm stupid... Should I not be installing with externals, and if I shouldn't be does this mean I need to wipe clean and start over without these externals or does it just make autobar and the like appear to use more memory than they are?

Installing with externals is fine, and doesn't affect your memory usage. It will, however, make one addon (the first to install libraries) appear to have higher memory usage.

Eg. Say you have two addons: AutoBar (1MB) and Bartender3 (1 MB). Both use Library A (1 MB).

Memory usage will appear as follows.
With Externals: Autobar (2 MB) Bartender (1 MB)
Without Externals: Autobar (1 MB) Bartender (1 MB) Library A (1 MB)

ElkBuffBars. I made a group for my buffs, my debuffs, my target's debuffs (just stuff I can cast), and my focus' debuffs for banish and seduction.

The "UI design" thread gave me a good idea - when you're using the Threat Meter, yer likely not using the MiniMap. So I placed it on top of the MiniMap and told it to show only in Raid/Party.

My minimap is occasionally used in raiding, for example pinging a spawn point of a naga or strider at Lady Vashj or pinging the place I died for a combat ress.

Slightly rare, but enough to warrant it being there I think.

Mini map for me is usually just to locate mine nodes or stuff like that.
