If you are useing Mik's Scrolling Battle Text atm, then Parrot should be the better choice. Less MiB than SCT and you can adjust almost everything like in MSBT.

Is it hidden and you have a black strip for it?

If you are gonna cover up a strip of the screen for FuBar you might aswell show it all the time. Or you just don't cover it up.

I really like the colours on your unit frames. Very nice UI.

I had the same problem with my Grid setup too. I've ended up dumping it just above my buttons on the bottom-middle of the screen as it seems the best place for it. It's always a tough choice to compromise looks with functionality, but on a healer setup it seems there's very little choice.

Caithlyn, I noticed at one point you put your cast bars above the player/target frames in a more prominent section of the screen. Is there any reason why you switched it back beneath the respective frames? I know it's personal preference, but I'm rather fond of having the cast bars easily seen, especially if I'm doing any amount of stopcasting.

Confirming that mine is Parrot, however I'm not 100% sure that Eaternal's is. Looks like it, though.

I installed Parrot about a week ago and am loving it thus far (used SCT/SCTD for a long time). It's beautiful, simple - doesn't take up much screen estate at all, even with raid-type spam - is amazingly configurable but setup extremely well by default, and doesn't have nearly the framerate performance hit as SCT and some others do (for me anyhow).

What is this "parrot" addon you guys are talking about?

I've been checking out this thread for a while now and I finally decided to start changing my UI a little bit. I just got the squeenix map and now I need an addon that allows me to move or hide all the buttons around the circle where my old minimap was. I know there used to be an addon called Moveanything I think but I can't find a current version. Is there a new one or perhaps another addon for that?

Visor2 and visor2 gui will let you move or hide just about anything including minimap buttons.

Detached minimap buttons also works for moving them, but i'm not sure how long it's been since it has been updated, I only know that my version works and has been stable for months.
