What version of Omen and Threat are you using, and is everyone else using the most recent version of both as well?

Has Deathfrost enchant been tested for agro? There may be an extra agro component on it due to the slow.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but it appears as though Omen does not recognize Veras Darkshore's (or whatever his name is), the Rogue in Illidari Council aggro drop when he vanishes. Last week I had an FD resist so I went to dps another target and pulled at less than 10k threat when the pally tank had around 30k threat. This week we had a druid on him and he confirmed that his threat did not reset after any of the vanishes.

Well I don't think that kind of debuff would be appllied on a boss, but could work on lower mobs.

Have something weird going on with Omen and just doing a general search here or google hasn't helped much yet. I found where to change the color of my own bar by accident, right clicking on the bar doesn't do it for me. Is there a way to change other bars?

And for whatever reason my pet keeps showing up as unknown. As far as I know i'm using the most recent version of it. Is there someplace to name lines?

So, anyone else having major issues with Omen lately? Been noticing it the last few weeks, mentioned it in the prot warrior thread briefly. Been using Omen since it's inception, pretty much, and it's always been very reliable/accurate, and we've gotten accustomed to how it works.

Some of the problems:

People pulling aggro from me when they're clearly much lower, on fights that have simple mechanics that we've had on farm and used Omen on for months. Mother Shahraz, for example (OT pulling threat while being quite a bit below the MT)

Omen depicting my TPS and overall threat as vastly bloated and incorrect. Had a trash pull that it was showing me at 3500 sustained TPS, and by the time it died it claimed I had 95k threat when everyone else was below 30k - when I was doing nothing special (I'm experienced enough when it comes to tanking to know I definitely did not have even 50k threat on the mob, let alone the 95k..) - this occured on several, random trash mobs throughout BT for no particular reason.

Omen not recognizing some people at all; sometimes dropping them off of the list mid-fight for no reason (Illidan flame tank, tank is on top, then his threat gen pauses and disappears and everyone passes the tank naturally, while the tank still retains aggro).

These aren't 'typical' problems people may claim they have with Omen/Threat meters, because, again, we've used it for ages and are quite familiar with the inconsistencies mods may have and other threat mechanics. This is just stuff that's clearly bugged and occuring only recently.

(Yes we've all updated omen as well, or supposedly!)

We had the same problem last night in ZA. People kept vanishing from the threat list, even the MT. I couldn't spot a pattern at all. Everyone had the latest version installed.

You know that you play too much WoW if you partners pants become a rare drop.
