I would like a pullout bar for the Aggro gain bar... seems that would be the most useful, I can pull out the tank's bar for fights like Lurker where ranged can't pull aggro anyway, so tend to break the tank's threat output, or I can pull out the Aggro Gain bar in fights such as Void Reaver with shifting tanks.

That's the plan. An aggro gain threat bar will basically show you your threat against the person who has aggro on your target. That just takes a bit more code than I currently have - though not a whole lot more.

Will it also include the numeric information? There's plenty of times I want to make sure I have the breathing room for the potentially-13k CoD that's about to land shortly.

For both BBW and Netherspite red beam is it possible that those are just both giving the target an extremely high amount of threat then reducing it after they aren't LRRH or out of the beam? I ask because as a developer we are always lazy and I know if I wanted to guarantee threat instead of trying to introduce a new mechanic I would do something like LRRH buff gives person say a million threat, then when it wears off reduce threat by a million.
Is this possible or been proven wrong? If it is then the addon could add some high value threat to those people guaranteeing them at the top of the list for the time being.

topojijo, I suspect that's exactly what's going on, but I don't really see much value in adding something like that, since the conditions for aggro in those cases are known and you don't need a meter to tell you about them.

Why would it be a new mechanic? Surely it'd work exactly the same way as a taunt does (however that is)?

Oh yeah I know, people obviously know who has aggro was just curious if you were going to put anything like that in or not. There are sometimes those crazy healers who don't see anything of what is going on.

Hey there. First off, great work on this mod, i'm lovin' it so far.
I've been testing this mod vs. KTM a little bit lately and i'm fairly impressed so far.
I do have one question though. On the Void Reaver fight in TK, he does a knock-back every now and again on whomever is currently tanking him which reduces aggro. When I used KTM on this fight shows the MT's aggro being reduced by 50%, which isn't accurate. Last night i used only Omen for this fight and it didn't do a aggro reduction at all. I believe the correct aggro reduction to be somewhere around 25%. Is this something you would have to specifically code into Omen for this boss? If it is, then maybe this will help. In my combat log it looks like this.
[Void Reaver] Knock Away dodge [You]
or this for one that lands
[Void Reaver] Knock Away [You] 2996(B471)

We have a Void Reaver module which was reported working at one point. Not sure what broke it, but you're the second person to report it broken. I'll see if I can figure it out.
Edit: We only have enUS and koKR translations for "Knock Away". Were you using another locale?
Edit again: Looks like someone borked the files on translation and included the UTF8 byte order characters at the start of the file. I'll get those fixed up.

It would be sweet if I could be viewing the threat of my target's target rather than my target. When I'm healing, I typically have a tank selected for the whole fight and I want to see the aggro meters for the boss.

Druid threat values are no longer being recorded correctly (at least for Bear form). Omen appears to be reporting damage = threat (or close to it, was sort of busy tanking). Final value at the end of the fight was KTM 370k, Omen 130k. Can post a screenshot if you like, not sure if that helps? Omen r39766, Threat r39771. Was working yesterday.

That is the intended function. Check earlier in the thread for discussion on this subject.

Yeah, wow. Nevermind. I guess the tank had no target when I was playing with Omen earlier. This is a really nice mod.

Has anyone gotten EXTREMELY inflated or deflated TPS with this mod in a large raid setting? This mod works pretty well when its a few people but once I start using this in a 25 man raid it just falls apart majorly. Some people are just not generating any threat when they definetely should be. Or if I stop attacking all together, my TPS goes skyrocketing.

I'm still troubleshooting various raid stuff - unfortunately, the majority of my time is not spent in a raid/party, so that stuff tends to be more done in theory than tested. I get a few critical bugs knocked out with each raid though.
If you can report specific causes/effects/encounters that have problems, that'll help me a ton.

well I discussed a bit with our healers and now as friendly targets target is shown is good for most cases, but still they were asking if it could be have sticky target for them to use. So no global master target, but locally they could set target to boss and that's it.

Had this happen yesterday as well.
I use KTM and Omen at the same time. KTM was running fine, but Omen stopped showing the threat for anybody else than me. This was in Karazhan at the trash mobs before Aran, before it worked fine.
Interestingly I also had this weird bug where I couldn't open the raid window while being in combat, and the character window showing up in the center of the screen. Haven't had that bug for quite a time, and I'm not sure if it is related to Omen's behaviour.
A ReloadUI solved both issues.
Time to update my addons *again* it seems. :x

Hi again. Is it possible to implement a kind of Warning on high aggro ? This could be a nice utility for not so "wake up" people. It would be very nice to have a message on the center of the screen like "Please low dps..", "Please stop dps", "Please drop your aggro now" maybe with a treshould aggro that can be setted using the menu.
Sorry for bad english

sp00n's and Vonwen's problem happened to me as well. Additional info: I use omen only, no KTM, "show ktm data" is turned on. Sometimes I see only a few people on the threat list, those who have omen.
Also I'd like to mention that it's really annoying, when the threat list suddenly clears and "rebuilds" itself.
Yesterday we were killing Leotheras the Blind. I used to handle the aggro resets when he switches to demon form but I forgot to tell my guildmates that I'm using only Omen. When I used "/omen reset" It did not do anything. Then I realized I use "show ktm data" so it's working as intended. Is it possible to have an other command like "/omen ktmreset" that transmits a command to the ktm users to reset everyone's list? (Or maybe a hidden message to an other assistant or raid leader to make him use "/ktm resetraid" command?) I know it would be better to have everyone using omen only and disable "show ktm data" option but right now (in alpha phase) I just can't convince everybody

Maybe you can try making your own macro :
/ktm reset
/omen reset

You missed the point when I said I have only Omen. If I don't have KTM, I can't reset it. And if nobody has Omen except me, then I have to use "show ktm data", what overwrites omen resets.

i really like omen for the extra features compared to KTM..
Just have a small question
First of all, the background: i'm an affliction warlock, with 2/2 imp.drain soul for the aggro reduction on affliction spells, and no aggro reduction talent for destruction
Testing omen i saw this: if i only used shadowbolt (destruction spell) the result was always the same as KTM. if i used only my affliction spells oomen always reported 10% more threat, as if it didnt count the talent
Is it something i have done and bugged it, or it is not implemented yet?
oh, and just for future use, warlock threat talents:
improved drain soul (threat reducton on affliction spells)
destructive reach (threat reduction for destruction spells)
master demonologist (threat reduction for all spells and abilities, only when having summoned an imp - there is also a buff on your char when you have this)
