Wow, did I mess that one up! I'm just running messages form the guild over to Antiac with their concerns. Apparently it was not keeping agro properly during the phase switch, and was confusing us as to which ranged to intervene when he respawns.

I know this isn't the right thread sorry, but if you have a tank taunt at 1% or so and have the people soul shatter/invisible the tank will get al'ar immediately after he "rebirths". If he doesn't taunt it goes to the previous top of the aggro list after rebirth.

hey, wow i read most of this thread.... took like an hour... anyways,
i have encountered something odd while using omen, when i solo grind with my felgaurd my threat will consistanly go up to about 150% of his or more before i gain aggro even though i should be gaining aggro from him at 130%
have all of the warlock threat reducing talents been added yet? or is it that my felgaurd's taunt ability not been added yet?
sorry i dont have a detailed screenshot or a really exact number answer (i suppose i should test it more to find the exact cause but its 3am im going to bed)
BTW i love this addon and cant wait untill it is fully functional and my FPS jumped through the roof when i replaced KTM with it (yay no more shattrath lag!!)

Having an issue with the most recent update of Omen (r41859).. my own threat bar is not showing up, ever. I've tried changing a few settings (ie show solo, always show own, etc..) still not showing up.
Edit:
Also, for some reason one party member is showing up as a set amount of threat no matter what they do (stays on dead mobs, and mobs not in combat yet)

I would love an option to stick the aggro gain bar on a specific target. Currently, aggro gain bar moves everytime the mob targets somebody for a secondary ability and it's very annoying sometimes (like on naj'entus when the mob targets somebody else than the tank to cast his random dd). So an option to tell the mod "heh this is the main tank, stick the aggro gain bar related to him and don't change it according to the mob's target" would be fine. This or just some kind of throttle like aggro gain change when mob targets somebody for longer than 3 sec or something.

You can kind of do this with a pull-out threat bar, those will always display your threat relative to the threat of a person of your choice. That's not perfect if you don't like how the pull-out threat bars look of course.

Left-click on the tank and drag their name out onto the desktop - gives you a seperate aggro bar just for them with your aggro level and the aggro gain level - this accomplishes almost the same as what you are asking.
Almost the best feature of Omen in my opinion, though a way to change the colours would be better as I find the default scheme a little hard to read at a quick glance.

Omen now only shows bonus threat values from Revenge, Shield Slam etc for me. Tried this solo, in 2 man group and 2 man raid; threat generated by damage just doesn't show up at all.

Threat stopped working properly for me too with r41855. Neither Omen nor the threatbar of Pitbull shows the threat of my pet or me. I tried it in team with someone else with KTM and his threat was shown as expected, just mine didn´t. Didn´t get the chance to test it with other Theat users so far. Also it doesn´t seem to matter if the threat is generated by plain damage or threat causing skills like Distracting shot or my pets Growl.
While I´m posting here - Is there any way to stop Omen from showing automatically whenever I join a Team/Raid/whatever (e.g. when I dismount and my Pet appears)? As mentioned earlier I´m using Pitbulls build in Threatbar which is sufficient most of the times and only want Omen to show up on demand.

Other peoples' bars show up as expected? Can you get me a screenshot next time you have the chance?

Can you grab a screen of this as well, including the results of the "Show party member revisions" command in Omen?

Does white damage show threat properly? Are just those two abilities broken, or is it most all damage + extra threat abilities?

Sounds like an issue similar to above - hopefully I can fix it for both of you in one shot.
If you manually hide Omen, then it -should- stay hidden when Threat reactivates due to a pet summons or whatever. I'll verify it and fix if not, though.

Omen opens every time I join a party regardless of whether I had it closed in the last party I was in.
Last night on Void Reaver I had 2 rogues beneath me in aggro (enhance shaman) that suddenly pulled aggro and got whacked, they were at least 20k below me according to Omen.
This could be related to everyone in the raid having about a dozen different versions of Omen/Threat.

You can right-click the Omen frame and use "show party revisions" to get a list of Threat versions people are running; that's extremely useful for determining if inaccuracies are due to a current bug or one that's already been solved. If you observe a similar situation, please grab a screen of that.

Yes I did a party revision check - the odd thing was that I had updated Omen/Threat yesterday afternoon. My Main Tank was listed as incompatible (so were about 8 others, no idea when they had last updated) so he logged and updated it. When he came back in, I did another revision check and it still said he was Incompatible, but both times he was showing up fine on the meter.

Antiarc, are you talking to Kenco regarding KTM 20.xx? Seems like version querys are blocked on his side now (or rather, KTM shows Omen as an unknown version). Is there some sort of fight going on between you two?
I mean this seriously sucks

The incompatible flag means that it's running a revision before some critical non-backwards compatible change.
If he's still showing as incompatible, then it's likely that he has multiple copies running somewhere. Have him update his whole mod suite, if you can.

Kenco and I have...not seen eye to eye regarding KTM for a while now. He's wanting to not report Omen users as genuine KTM users - which I can understand - but he's also blocking version responses from real KTM users who happen to also be running Threat, which is kinda broken. I've proposed a solution, so we'll see where it goes from there.
An update on the self-missing-threat-data bug: Parser-3.0 (the combat log parsing library Threat uses) was changed yesterday and it's highly suspected that it is to blame; you can try removing the embedded copy of Parser-3.0 and install revision 40447 standalone and see if that fixes the problem, or just wait for ckknight to commit a fix for it (hopefully today!)

I've had a similar issue with Omen 41730 and Threat 41729, and I've updated the addon as regularly as possible. No bars for threat show for anyone in the raid group whatsoever, and doing a check shows that no one in the raid has Threat installed, even though everyone does.
Updating to a newer version doesn't seem to fix the problem either.

See if last night's fixes fix that - there was a problem with the library upgrade path that was causing two copies of Threat to fight for the comm channel, resulting in neither getting access to it. If it doesn't, please remove all but the latest copy of Threat (embedded or otherwise) and see if that fixes it - if so, then I don't have the comm channel problems fixed.

Wait a sec. When you say 2 copies of threat installed, are you now bundling Threat with the Omen download in the internal libs?

Yes, Threat's been an Omen lib for a very, very, very long time now. It's also an embed in PitBull, Aloft, Recount, Violation, and Assessment.

The Parser-3.0 change has been reverted and a new version should be on files.wowace.com, and available from WAU - you should be able to see threat again.

Had some strange behavior during Void Reaver last night. Everything seemed to be working normally, then I died and soulstoned back up.
After that point my TPS started doing weird things like going 200, -354, 100, 54, -200... just bouncing everywhere.
Also, people using KTM reported me bouncing between like 2nd and 8th spot during Magmadar as well as Void Reaver (prior to dying). Although my bars did not bounce at all.
Antiarc, is there a debug mode where I can see the threat being reported or other such internal information for easier debugging?

TPS calculations are currently (still) broken. I've been working on optimizing them, and broke something in the process (I suspect my IIR filter has a p1 >= 1, actually. Heh.) I'm aiming to get them fixed up tonight.
You can enable debug messages with:
/run AceLibrary("Threat-1.0").DebugEnabled = true
/run ChatFrame5:Show()
However, I don't have debug messages on threat change right now, mostly because that gets run so often that I want it as slim as possible. You can install an addon like ViewAddonMessage which will show you the KTM traffic you're sending out, and should let you see if the values reported are all funky.
