Both the hunter and MD target need to be running Omen for threat to register properly, I'm afraid.
Just checked with the Hunter, and apparently she is running Omen after all, updated frequently via WoWAceUpdater. I'll see if I can snap some shots of relative threat (KTM vs. Omen) on Morogrim the next time we do the fight.

It seems to bug with people on frFR locale (which i'm not using, i'm on enGB), and the Rempart de déphasage is Phasing Bulwark, dunno why it thinks it's the staff.
We had a tank not show up on VR last night. How and why it happened I have now clue. Wasn't a knock back (he was the second tank and vanished about 30 seconds in) and it was happening on gruul later that night (he'd be there for a few minutes then just go poof).
I'd almost say he was dropping off normally, but if that were the case then I would have eaten a few hateful strikes, and I didn't, so clearly his threat wasn't dropped.
If it happens again in SSC tonight, I'll let you know. Until then I'm just calling it a fluke.
Something was wrong with my threat on Essence of Desire last night. My own Omen was showing me constantly at 1k and more TPS with Salvation on, but other people saw me much lower on both KTM and Omen. Is Omen counting the damage that I deal to myself or something? Version was from last night and all people had the same threat library.
Again, I'm loving omen, but some oddities popped up last night. I recently respecced to Felguard/Destruction (Warlock), and noticed some threat weirdness.
We finished off pretty much all of Karazhan, and figured, why not go kill Attumen. During phase 1, I had my felguard on his horse (nightmare? I forget the name). However, I forgot to turn off his taunt (Anguish, I believe it's called). I was surprised when I saw that his threat was approaching our druid tank's threat, about 30 seconds in! I'm not sure if it was over reported, or not, but another oddity occured after that. The phase 1->2 transition is a threat wipe (as I understand it), but when I put my pet onto the now mounted Attumen, he still had ~17k threat, and this was with his taunt turned off.

We may have had the same thing happen during our loot reaver kill, (yesterday with omen updated approx 6:30pm est 8/5). I was going to report that the tanks were so far below the dps on omen that they "fell off" the list. Now I wish I had something more than anecdotal evidence to post, or expanded omen to actually show more than the top 5 to see what the nature of the problem was. For what its worth the warriors/bear were showing normally during the first minute or so at least.

That's EXACTLY what happened.
The only tank on the list was the one with agro, all of the others were just not listed until VR spun to them. Had me spamming feint for the first 3 minutes of the fight thinking I was in danger of breaking into the top 4 on the threat list >_<
Our last two fights we have had issues with our Tank going to 0 TPS then slowly falling off the Omen list. First was on Prince in Kara, tonight it was on Hydross. It only seems to happen to one tank, and he is running the most current version available (we had him update.)
Not sure what to make of this. Note the "mark at 25%" which means Cador has been on him for at least a good 10 seconds, so it's not a 'he just got agro' issue. Something is most certainly up with people falling of the meter.
edit: The only thing I can think of is that there is something up with threat clears as a whole (both VR and Hydross have them, so it may be a good place to start looking).
Yep. We converted to Omen 10 days ago when starting to do Kael. Its much easier that way. Also you might mention that switching to Omen will help with some fps issues, at least it did for me and several other members in our raid.
Currently in the process of converting my guild to Omen, I'm struggling with most of them, their argument being "what's the point?"
Any ideas about what arguments I should use in my crusade to get them to ditch KTM?
It's also a little bit more efficient than KTM if you're using the threat data in multiple places (ie omen and pitbull). The library nature of Threat means that if people don't want the meter they don't have to even load the code for it, they simply can just run ThreatLib by itself.
The point is "no more master target" and individual threat for unique named mobs
Yeah, once I mentioned this to our MT he more or less instantly logged out to download Omen. Your average user won't care about lower memory usage or Ace or what have you, but almost anyone should appreciate the sheer awesome of per-target threat tracking.
