I'm going to confirm that threat clears often have problems. Doing RoS this week the threat clear going into phase 3 didn't rest the threat for three of our shaman for some reason. No one in the raid uses KTM, nor have they for a long time now. This is purely an Omen issue.

Encounter-TPS, your threat per second as taken over the entire duration of the encounter, as opposed to your threat per second as taken over the last bunch of threat generation actions used.

Experienced no threat issues last night on Hydross. Not sure if it's a fluke or if you actually solved the problem. Some more confirmations would be nifty :P

Same as Jameseh, after the Whirlwind transitions on Leo is particularly bad. The druid tank will still be sitting at 50k threat but everyone else gets reset, or sometimes it doesn't reset anyone at all. The only time I get a 100% reset during Leo is at the Human-to-Demon phase transition.

Must have been a fluke for me then. Either way I'm glad it happened because it was our first hydross kill ^_^

Anyway, I really hope the threat clear issue gets sorted out soon, as it's the only thing really holding omen back from active use.

I wonder if (On Leo that is), it might be related to the non-extensible nature of buff/debuff gain messages. I know that if I'm the only person using BigWigs, that if I stay at max healing range, I don't get the 12 second timer bar for Whirlwind when Leo uses it (And I also don't get the cooldown timer bar started after Whirlwind is over). Perhaps Threat-1.0 will occasionally fail to catch Whirlwind as well if you're too far away?

I got the BigWigs 12-second timer for every whirlwind as I was too close for comfort on many attempts. At that range I still experienced the partial or nonexistent threat wipe when coming out of whirlwind.

I'll have to pay close attention to this tonight (we'll be doing leo, morogrim, then some vashj learnin'). From what I can remember in previous weeks, the threat during the demon phase is always really spot on accurate, but during human form it's more of a "trust the tank" touch and go kind of thing. Our MT on leo's human form always lets the DPS know as soon as he thinks it's ok to go all out (plus misdirect rotation on it etc etc), but there's always some threat left over from someone.

Still no reset on Supremus. Not worth the effort, but I wanted to report it.

Not sure if any revisions were made recently, but threat for Leo was fine tonight. Reset where appropriate etc.

I fixed a problem with resets yesterday. I'm keeping a watch on it to see if it did what I'm hoping it did.

I updated Omen last night before doing Gorefiend and it seemed like it showed my own threat as being way lower than it really was, all night. Everybody else's threat seemed more or less accurate, but I wasn't able to exceed like 30% of our main tank's threat on any attempt, even going full out dps from the start. Of all the dps, I was the lowest in threat, just above the healers actually.

I looked at someone else's screenshot of one of our attempts and their Omen showed me at 81% of the tank, which is what I would expect in this kind of fight.

Yeah, it's Gorefiend, people were getting ghosted, but the MT certainly wasn't doing any damage to ghosts, and I'm talking about attempts where I never got ghosted.

The zip I downloaded was Omen-r45064.28.zip. Anybody else see anything like this?

I noticed yesterday on my hunter that if I throw mend pet up before I send my pet in, I can "outthreat" him with it and not pull agro. My pet was 4 levels below me, so resisted growls and missed/parried/blocked/dodged attacks happened a lot, so my mend pet ticks would get me up around 500 threat before he was at 100, yet I wouldn't pull agro.

It's not a huge thing, but it does throw the meter off slightly.

Regarding the last few posts about resetting tps, just try updating your 2 weeks old omen version more frequently, since your threat-1.0 addon is from yesterday (simply downloading the actually version under http://files.wowace.com/Omen/Omen.zip or try using WowAceUpdater).

Threat wasn't being reset between phases on Supremus tonight, using Omen r45044 / Threat r46498. Also, doesn't he wipe threat on both the tank and the kite phase?
