Just a heads up on the pet issue. I got mine working just fine last night after trying a few options listed here and finally doing the following.
I think my problem stemmed from running omen, pitbull and recount all updated with externals (just a theory). Is it possible that each mod could have been updated with different versions of the threat lib?
At any rate, I installed the stand alone librarys, reinstalled all addons without externals and suddenly I had perfect threat from my pet.
I just wonder if the folks that were having issues were getting different versions of the threat 1.0 lib embedded with a couple of addons that share that partiular library.
Take care,
-E

I updated today (about 3-4 hours ago) with externals and just went testing with one of my guildies and had this happen:
We both use Omen and pitbull and he uses Recount. Going to try the method mentioned above now.
P.S.
-E
EDIT: didn't work, my pets TPS dropped to 350 but I pulled aggro at around 60-70% from wanding.

I did have to change my WUA settings according to the instructions in the section "1.9, Automatic Everything" @ WowAceUpdater - WowAce Wiki before it worked properly.
Threat seemed to be spot on after the reinstall.
Hope this helps and works for you.

Well it seemed to work with some accuracy with my Felguard, I'll check tomorrow if it's been fixed in raids too.

Wonderful info - thank you.
Can you produce messed-up pet threat after a full WAU update with Pitbull on?

I will have to try tonight and find out. I reverted back to using Ag_unitframes for the time being and I miss my Pitbull :'(

My suspicion is some kind of old/new library conflict. I'm not sure what's going on, because I run Pitbull (among others) with Omen and haven't been able to produce abnormal pet threat in my own testing.

Just got home and did a fresh install of Omen and Pitbull from WAU.
Disabled every addon but Pitbull and Omen.
As you can see I pulled aggro at supposedly 22% of my pet's threat. And there is almost no way of my pet actually having 10k threat on the spider seeing as how he only has about 5k hp.
If there is anymore info you would like to know just ask. like I said I'm pretty anxious to have it resolved and switch back to Pitbull.

Awesome. Thanks a ton for the test. I'll see if I can strip down my UI and replicate it.

Really appreciate the work you are putting on this. I was extremely happy to see that I can add single threat bar on my playerframe with pitbull, and then the information got completely messed with pet threat. Cant wait to see fix on this <3
Edit: Just as side note. Today we had more problems with mage pets and this threat issue than hunter pets, while previously it has been only hunter problem. Maybe its universal, but could help while finding the problem.
Could you add pets to the "exclude" class list? I dont really care about pet threat anyway, so it would be nice to disable showing pet threat completely.

Zomghuntar: I tried to replicate the test, with only Omen, Pitbull, and ACP running. Pet threat is behaving as expected.
I do run disembedded (without externals) - which way are you set up?

I run everything with externals. I was pretty sure both of them having Threat1.0 embedded had something to do with the problem.

Nothing in this thread is working for me. =(
I've reinstalled with and without externals, and it's not working. Using Pitbull, Recount, Omen. My pet just does absurd amounts of unexplained threat. When I mouse over him in the window, it shows another player.

It's all pets. And that's what we are trying to get fixed ^_^
Pretty much for now if you turn off Pitbull it should fix the problem.

Tracked it down and eliminated it. The long and short of it is that every time you dismissed and then resummoned your pet, each of your pets threat events was counted an additional time. That is, if you dismissed your pet four times, then your pet would have five events per threat event, resulting in them registering 5x their actual threat.
A fix has been committed and should be available in WAU in ~20 minutes.

That would explain alot. I was wondering why on long days where I didn't log out for 10 hours my pet was doing more TPS than when i had just logged on to take Screenshots for you.
Glad you got it working though. I can finally switch back to Pitbull tomorrow! Thanks for the awesome work ^_^b

Since I was already in the code, I went ahead and added code for Shaman in 2.3. It won't become active until 2.3, but the new values for Spirit Weapons and handling for threatless Lightning Overload procs are in place.

Well that would explain the exorbitant amount of threat the mages water elementals have been accounted for all the time, where we assumed it was just stacking all elementals
