Would it be possible to add an option to display absolute threat difference instead/in addition to the percentage on the pullout threat bars? On pulls knowing the absolute threat the tank has is a lot more useful to me in deciding when to engage.

The easiest way to accomplish that is to just look at the default omen window where you can see the total threat easily and just engage when you think your tank is ahead enough of you.
rooppa, to make my point clear, unless i am totally wrong, Antiarc correct me please if that is the case, i was under the impression that you CAN'T dynamically populate a list while in combat. Thats why popular mods like PerfectTargets, a mod that dynamically populated a list with hostile targets while in combat and showing target of target as well as the number of people targeting the hostile target, disappeared.
Omen works, because it KNOWS what will show up on the threatmeter before combat starts, your raid members. It can build an internal list and just switch the "show me" flag on and off depending on rank in the meter and combat/no combat.

You can populate a list in combat, however that list cannot consist of unit frames. As long as you can't target things using the dynamically generated list - which PerfectTargets once did - it all works fine, you can do something like display threat bars for everything targeted by anyone in the raid or the like.

Sometimes my threat doesn't properly reset (and only my threat), so I end up with 150k threat on a new target I'm attacking (quickest example I can find is FLK, since we did him yesterday..)
Any idea why or fix?

This was happening to our shadow priests and warlocks on Illidan on Sunday as well. Right off the bat pahse 2 they'd get 150k threat or some obscene number.

Has also been happening to one of our DPS Warriors despite version check showing him as having the latest version. Wouldn't be so bad if you could ignore certain people from Omen, but you can only do it by class.

Hrm. That bug was an issue in some older versions, but I'd thought I'd quashed it. I'll look into it again.

From our raid last night, 3 of our raid were not appearing on Omen at all. After talking to them about it, it turns out they have the new version of KTM installed, and don't have ThreatLib installed. Have i missed an option or does Omen no longer process KTM data for the newest version?

Omen should still receive data from KTM, unless I've missed something major. I'll take a peek at it.

Why do they use KTM anyway? You said 3 people of your raid were not showing up, all 3 were using a "not raid conform" threat meter. If i was the raid leader i would kick their asses around till they installed Omen. The only thing worse than outdated addons is conflicting addons in a raid environment.

We're in a transition period between KTM and omen. DPS generally love omen, whereas tanks for some reason prefer KTM. I think this is mainly because they tried an earlier release of Omen and found it buggy and are reluctant to go back. Anyway one of the great things about omen is that it is compatible with KTM, so there's no need for a raid leader to 'Kick their asses around'. I don't want to de-rail this thread into an argument about required raiding addons.

For those of you that experience Omen not working after zoning, I just discovered an incompatibility with a mod called "AuraMap". It's rather badly behaved and unregisters key events for all Ace2 mods, rather than just itself (mistakenly, mind you). I'd recommend not using it at all until the author fixes it, as it may break untold numbers of mods, Omen included.

Hello.
I'm remaking my UI and omen is the last thing i have left to configure really.
I'm trying to anchor an eePanel to omen, so i enther "OmenAnchor" to it, and everything seems fine. But when i get bars in omen, the anchor moves (from top to middle of omen).
Is there any way to make this not happening.
Thanks in Advance
Erzy

Me and 3 other buddies were going Onyxia the other day for a bit of fun. Our shadow priest got huge aggro in the start and just started wanding. That made Omen screw something up. Then I started aswell just to check it out and the same deal. Me and the shadow priest (I was holy priest) started getting huge threat just by wanding which of course couldn't be true as neither of us ever got aggro eventho we were miles infront of tank according to Omen.

Our resto druid usually have huge threat when the encounters start or after a threat reset. Is it possible that he keeps his GLOBAL threat on the boss somehow? (even after we were out of combat or after a threat reset).

That actually sounds similar to what was happening with our DPS Warrior, he was complaining that Omen was always displaying global threat and not mob specific threat like it should be, I wonder if the bug is making people keep their global threat.

I noticed today during Heroic Arcatraz that the threat was bit off on the Arcatraz Sentinel, I as a Mage was higher on the threat table than reported by the meter. The only explanation I can think of is that Omen doesn't recognize that the Sentinel starts off with about 20% health and thus wrongly accounts for the Mage talent Molten Fury.

I have to notice also that there might be a bug with the warrior threat. It happened 2 times in the last two days: me and a feral druid got killed by the boss at about 99-102% of the tanking warrior's threat.

Molten Fury shouldn't matter because it doesn't have any threat effect other than increasing your damage. Those mobs, however, have really weird threat and nobody I play with quite understands how they work. Our best guess is that they ignore all special threat modifiers, making Warriors basically useless at tanking them. It seemed that you could reliably tank them with damage or healing but not with threat-generating abilities, and it also seemed that threat-reducing abilities didn't work very well on them either (feint, soulshatter). I don't really know but I wouldn't worry about strange threat meter readings on those mobs.

Those Sentries are actually immune to Feint. Seriously. You feint and you get an "IMMUNE" message.
Definitely some weird threat mechanics at play there.

Those mobs are just really bizarre. My best working hypothesis is that they have a periodic aggro reduction on everyone. So that small fluctuations in threat end up being magnified. Something like every time they cast their lightningbolt everyone's threat gets reduced by 50%.
Also, they are the only mob in the game that I can taunt, see the mob turn to me for a second, but the taunt debuff does *NOT* go up on the mob and they can immediately reacquire a new target.
Basically I've left those in the 'bizarre' category and just accept that stunning them is the best approach.

I just reworked my UI, and I'm also now getting the error

AMPFu-3.7\libs\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua:516: in function `AceLibrary'

I definitely have an updated copy of Threat-1.0, so I'm rather stumped as to what is causing the problem.

Two questions:
Is Threat-1.0 enabled?
Is Threat-1.0 an optional dependency in the IceHUD_Threat TOC file?

Actually, as of some point in the past (2.2, 2.3, not sure - been a *long* time since I did heroic arc, but went back after 2.3 with the heroic dailies), taunt works as expected on them, 3 second debuff and all. They stick to me as normal now.
