There has been some third-party support for Sanity and SanityBags, but I switched to Baggins a while back. It does everything I need, and I just don't really have much motivation to work on SanityBags anymore.

That said, I'm kinda getting the itch to rewrite Sanity itself sometime soonish.

Quick question about this bag mod:

I am running WoW on an older G4 powerbook for the time being and I need to keep my memory usage to an absolute minimum in order to have a passable frame rate. As such I have only three mods installed:

1) a bar mod to move things around
2) quest helper to help me navigate
3) a bag mod similar to sanity bags

I notice that you mention that sanity bags is a very memory-light addon. I also notice that it uses the ace library. My question is: if none of my other addons already use the ace library, is sanity bags going to have to load the whole library just for that plugin? If so, would it really be lighter than competing bag mods?

I know this is really picking at a very fine point of memory usage, but until I build a new computer in a couple of months I have to be super careful about my interface or my frame rate will drop to the point where the game is unplayable.

Given that the addon is no longer supported by the author, I would not recommend using it, light or not (I was having problems with it prior to 3.x; I can't imagine that the situation has improved). I found ArkInventory to be to my liking.

That said, quest helper is going to destroy your framerate long before a bag mod will - I have to turn it off for raiding, and I have a reasonably beefy computer.
