Any cooldown mod?

I've been looking for some mod to show my cooldowns in middle of the screen. Since i'm a warrior i have to see whats going on in the area while tanking and DPS'ing too, to grab some fleeing mob or healer rapper as i like them to call. So anyway, my point is if i'm tanking i most of the times look at my action bars to see if my ability is ready or not since most of the times I'm struggling for aggro with those mean mages etc

EDIT: also some chatmod you could link me to would be nice (Ace2 ofc) since im using chatMod which is not Ace2

Chronometer.

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

Any good cooldown mods for trinket? I swear to god, I forget to click my Prayerbook an embarrassing amount. Being brought up atheist has its drawbacks, I guess.

I've been using cooldown bars 2.0 very old mod dating from before 2.0 and was only hacked to function since. I've tried a few Ace'd things and they all had various degrees of bugginess while cdb does everything I want it to do.

I haven't tried chronometer, but at least the description on wowace.com doesn't sound like what you are looking for.

e: cdb does trinkets ofcourse, but remember that some trinkets have shared cooldowns (for example zhc and xiri's gift) and it'll make a bar for each trinket. Also for trinkets, TrinketMenu (popular mod from the maker of ItemRack) - while it doesn't make a bar you can have it pop a messege in big letters over your screen when a trinket is ready.

I've started using Forecast (now called Hourglass) and it seems to be picking up a lot of things that all the previous timer bars missed for me. I was relogging multiple times last night, and Forecast/Hourglass picked up the time left on my Ancestral Recall

The main problem with it is configuration. There's no mouse-move functionality, and the positioning interface is very limited. Similar to Discord mods, you set the Anchor point and an offset from that

Not every mod has to use Ace tbh. :P
I tried some random Ace chatmod, but found it lacking and using way too much resources. Ended up using CleanChat and something I wrote myself just for the tweaks I wanted. If you want I can hook you up with that.

shoosh! discord was ownage... there is nothing, I MEAN NOTHING to replace all of the good old DAB functions, too bad their creator left without saying goodbye and btw you could move anything to anywhere with your mouse, just had to unlock stuff.

regarding the topic: I tryed cooldownbar, i tryed it and it seemed really buggy for me... :S ill try it again with my new reworked UI

EDIT: Chronometer is totally not what im looking for, im looking for adodn to show my ability cooldowns, not durations of spells like warstomp or for example moonfire... :S

cooldowncount (ace) will put nice numbers on your bars which makes it much easier to see when something is available.
CooldownTimers2 (ace) sounds like it does what you want with bars.
Hourglass (ace) Same type of thing.

-edit bah down side of opening all new threads that look interesting and then reading them over the morning is when I posted this there weren't any other replies.

Chronometer tracks your debuffs like demo/thunder clap/sunder on your target. While useful it doesn't sound like what you want.

I use the Ace mod "cooldown." Not fancy, but works. Only bug is that timers replicate themselves when you zone (I guess that might be annoying for some, but my longest timer is 8 minutes).

I have been using chronometer in addition to cooldowntimers2 and it's been doing what you're looking for. I'm still actively seeking a mod which has both of these features all in one, but haven't found it yet.

The hourglass author has anchors and dragging on his todo list. As it is now you can reposition the addon by editing x and y offset in the LUA file and doing /console reloadui. Once you have them positioned it's not too bad.

Scaling and skinning are not in but every new feature increases memory usage so maybe less is better.

That addon is the addon i was looking for, used it before, now if I could just figure out how do you configure it :S

I found how to move it, but i still want when i moved to remove the Minimap icon and i want to add scale and alpha to the bars..

Anyone know if the addon has the ability to send a message to SCT when cooldowns expire? I would love that for arenas when I'm struggling to kite someone and I don't even realize that my frost nova is now available to me.

If its just cooldowns you want then maybe you want "MikScrollingBattleText" together with MSBTCooldowns

cooldown bars 2.0 can do this as well as probably any other cooldown bar mod.

e: it doesn't send a messege to SCT pre se, but it'll say that this or that cooldown is finished in big letters in the middle of your screen or wherever else you want.

On my alt rogue, I've been using Cooling. It's a set of 12 non-clickable placeholders that you set up on your screen. When a spell/ability/item is on CD, it will populate those placeholders with the appropriate icon. Although it has it's own cooldown count display, it works with Tuller's OmniCC so you get the nice flashing pulse effect just before the icon goes off cooldown. Options for min/max tracking time and SCT notifications are in there as well.

The author is currently working on an updated version where you can define rulesets for your cooldowns. So for example, you will be able to do something like put your short cooldown items in the middle of the screen and the longer ones off to the side. Really looking forward to that.

In the shot below I've set up 6 icons across the lower middle of my screen with 3 of them currently populated with cooldowns. The buttons are a nice contrast to the temporary timer bars for buffs/debuffs (the mod I'm using for those is ClassTimer). I really like the way the middle of my screen cleans itself up nicely as the bars and buttons disappear.

I gotta second this, I've been really impressed with the ease of setup and general feel of MSBT and MSBTCooldowns. I've MSBT set up to where I get a "XXX is almost ready" and "XXX is ready now!" message float up from my feet at the appropriate times. Also, if that doesn't do it for you, I like DoTimer's cooldown package that comes with it. Very customizable and simple, can show bars, icons, words, whatever does it for you.

I like you peoples...

Cooldowntimers2 is what you are looking for.

It features movable timer bars for spells and items which can be turned on or off. And when timer is up it can announce it on a choosen spot on the screen. Very nice.

Do not matter how much you play, you will never get the carrot.

You could also have good results with JIM's cooldown pulse, I love that addon! It flashes the ability's icon in the middle of the screen when the cooldown is finished. I found it useful for tanking, as there are a lot of short cooldowns to keep track of.

Cooldowntimers2 is most likely your best bet, although it hasn't been updated for a while, it still works rather well.

Tried Cooldowntimers2 and it works great, but I couldn't find any way to eliminate the countdown bars. All I'm really interested in the announce when something's cooled down...I don't really need yet more bars on my screen...
