Shatter Distance Display from BigWigs

Does anyone have this working for them consistently? The first night we spent on Gruul there was a nice little box that popped up when the fight started, and it continually updated to show me who was within shatter range.

Not necessary, but handy at times (like when in a safe spot to see if too many folks are nearby, but can't be seen due to visibility from the walls).

Since then, it never shows up on Gruul nights, even though the setting is checked for it to be there.

Then again, I am only assuming it was BigWigs displaying this. It could be something built into Natur's Enemy Castbar, but I doubt it.

Thanks, and thank for any redirects to a BigWigs specific thread if there is one that I missed posting this into.

Make sure you have Heavy Netherweave Bandages on you ;)

I use Deadly boss mode. And the distance display thing works just fine. :)

If you press Ctrl+V this will turn friendly health bars on.

The range on these is conviently the same range as shatter :) So if you can see another players health bar, you're standing too close.

I use deadly boss mods aswell, but think its easier to do it by eye with the health bars.

Doing it by eye works pretty well for the most part, but last night particularly, I found that it was very easy to miss someone who's behind your field of view. I was in one situation where seven or eight different people got catapulted into the same section of the room, right on top of one another, and there was simply no way to quickly evaluate everyone nearby in every direction. The BigWigs display window helped a ton there...only one person ended up dying in that mess.

(edit) In retrospect, the anecdote I gave is a complete non-sequitur with respect to the point I was trying to make. Anyway, I did find a couple situations last night where it was nice to have the nameplates, but I also would have missed someone behind me without them. Apologies for the crappy post, it's hot today and my apartment lacks air conditioning. :-P
