It is my understanding that SW_Fixlogstrings will definitely interfere with Parserlib based addons like Recount and Violation

I don't blame you for missing this, but my search-fu is feeling strong.
This should fix it, IIRC
Sometimes I touch myself.

EDIT: Nevermind; as I suspected, cryect is way ahead of us

I think that degenerates into minutiae though and frankly, frost mages are probably better off without concrete proof anyhow. No, really!
Haha, I'm planning to add something of the sort but yeah its somewhat complex.

I need to do something useless.

Usually, 3 to 5 people aren't that bad, and everyone else is either completely missing or badly off. In a 5-man, I can go a whole instance with no data from one party member at all, even if they stand right next to me nearly the whole run.

In the above, it was a Void Reaver attempt The two rogues (and the tanks) were 30 to 50 yards from me most of the time. The room is about 200 yards wide, I should be missing very little, not nearly all of it. At least half of the ranged was on my half of the room, they should be on the list somewhere.... but most aren't even present for 1 damage.

It has been like this for all such mods since 2.0 came out. A totally broken combat log setup.

Config.wtf's ranges are all set to 200 (or whatever I last set in Recount or other mods that set it).

Any other ideas/suggestions so I can dump SWStats? Has anyone else had such issues? Should I ask this in a general UI thread?
Hmmm, guess back to raiding to figure this stuff out whats going wrong (been past couple works hammering out stuff instead of raiding). Normally when I've tested its pretty spot on so slightly disturbing. I will look at SWStats support then and move that up I guess. Detailed information at this time will still be unsynced though.

Curious do you have a WWS for that fight. I like to see if it at least is comparing right to WWS since it should be getting the exact same data.

Has anyone compared this addon with violation? (Because these two seem similar very much)

Note, this issue is NOT just in recount. DamageMeters will have the same exact missing data (until it synchs). Whatever it is it is a more global issue ...

And if I just get summary data from SWStats, and the detailed info is still missing, I might as well just use SWStats and forget about Recount or anything else that is having this issue.

I'll try disabling SWStats, but I am fairly certain I first tried Recount without it enabled and the issue was still there.

I might even go as far as backing up my WTF and addons directory and trying with this as the only mod -- but that will take a couple days at least (I'm not going to raid progression content without my UI).

I'll try and get one next time I am on (tonight or tomorrow) and see if the WWS data looks more like one or the other.

no they arent similar at all.

Violation is pretty muchd an ace'd swstats, ktm combination.

This AddOn provides graphical visualisation of various stuff, timedata and an death tracker which tries to figure out why somebody died.

BTW :

is it normal that only heals are displayed in the death tracker for tanks - and maybe colorizing heal/dmgtaken/dmgdone/powergains in something like green/brown/red/yellow would help a lot

This really sounds like a FixLongString issue or whatever that Module is called that ships with SWS. I had this problem for a long time and disabled FixLongStrings and everything was fixed. Try disabling that if you have it enabled.

The module does something with combat log so other Damage Meters (DamageMeter in particular) doesn't parse correctly and misses all kinda of data. Remove it and your DamageMeters should be alot more accurate. That is what worked for me when all my Damage meters were showing different information.

Can you look into tracking power word: shield casts? And if the priest is running recount themselves, add the shield amount (modded by +heal of course) to their heal totals. It would go a long way toward figuring out how much healing is being 'hidden' by traditional tracking methods. Attributing the prayer of mending to the proper healer would be great too (through mend watch type tracking maybe?)

A minor note with the death tracker- While viewing the information on your personal window, you see the relevant combat log messages from the player, and then the player's HP at the time of that message. When you report to raid, however, the output is missing the player's HP at the end of each message, which is a somewhat important part to leave out, I think.

Tracks heals for anyone in the death tracker. If there is no heals for other people its because they haven't received a single heal in the past 15 seconds or past 25 events. Yes, I wish to add some colorization I was just at the moment was doing it completely uncolorized/reformatted.

Whoops, thanks that was something I forgot to add there when implementing that feature!
