I've now included a batch file called

Fix_SWFixLogStrings.bat

Run that and it renames the directory of SW_FixLogStrings to !SW_FixLogStrings

Should work if the directory is renamed testing now though.

Hmm after further inspection this won't work. I'm coding up something a little more general that should though.

I tried your great addon out this afternoon for the first time, and while soloing with my hunter it was really great. However, later on we did a party to kill off the Gronn in BE (Gruul's sons), and even with one of my party members standing within 5' of me (both Shadow Priests) I only got damage data from myself and the tank; a bit later the healer accidentally hit something and got on the damage display too.

Our 5th party member was an affliction lock but I suspect he should be showing on the general main damage display too even if he was mainly dotting?

Yes, all damage should show up. This sounds like the SW_FixLogStrings issue, update to the latest recount to make sure it doesn't affect you.

What Locale are you? enUS?

Both SCT & Recount seem to be working fine for me with SWS in place.

enUS, yes.

You need to run SWS at the same time? I didn't read that anywhere in the main post. I thought this was its own separate meter.

Also, sct works fine-- it's sct damage that doesn't show up when Recount is running.

Nah, I think that was someone else in the thread. I don't even run SWS.

For what it's worth then, I just tried Recount with sct and sct damage not loaded, and there was still nothing registering in Recount's main window for all of Hydross.

edit: I'll see if I can't figure out what mod is conflicting when I get a chance after the raid.

I think I figured out the issue is due to Parser-3.0 compatibility mode maybe. See if the latest version works now. Might not and might just be conflict of some sort.

For this one, the window is now immovable and full of gray bars that say "Test". Still doesn't count data.

I've been using this addon since it first appeared in the other thread. And I gotta say this thing is damn impressive. I've been getting more and more of my guild converted (partly to get them to secretly get threat installed =P) but they all love it too. Haven't had many issues with it, and whenever something pops up it's fixed quickly (or it was something I messed up). I guess this post is just one long "Thank You" for creating my favorite addon.
