Differences between SWS and Recount
The image you see was taken after a SV run,
Alikebabi is Fitsi's pet.
Recount shows Alikebabi damage and Fitsi+Alikebabi damage as Fitsi's one, is that correct ?
Also my damage in SWS is higher than in Recount.

Recount shows hunter and pet as merged damage but also shows your pets damage.
You have SWStats configured to NOT merge pet and hunter.
Add them together and the damage done is identical on both meters :>

I'm loving the add-on so far. However, I've noticed that Recount is not reporting damage dealt by my Fire Totems. I know you're still working on Pet Merger, I'm hopeful that totems will be accounted for when that patch arrives.
If the add-on should be reporting my totems, and I've misconfigured it then tech-support would be much appreciated!

Updated all addons, and these are the addons I want to use, with the exception of Trinketmenu.
Can anyone help me?

I looked in the menus but is there an option to have 2 columns in the future? Don't like to have a big bar that has a lot of height Would love to replace it in my current SW stats

I'm missing personal DPS value in the title bar, which can be seen during encounter.
And some sort of dropdown menu for different measuring types instead of Prevous|Next buttons.

There's no way that it *can* report your searing/fire nova/magma totem damage. Totems do not have an owner or a unique name in the combat log, same as a water elemental for a mage.

Which A) Sucks, and B) Allows you to drop elementals in neutral towns like Cosmowrench.
Couple of requests for useability: - Either a drop down list, or a custom add/remove/order for the different tabs (easier to find useful info, able to remove things that you don't care about seeing)
- Multiple last fight views, as sometimes you want to look at that last boss fight, but pvp after releasing to Cosmowrench clears it >.<

That's not entirely true. In game there are functions in the API to determine pet ownership for non-unique named pets. Whether or not something like this exists for totems I do not know.

In the API, yes. In the combat log, which is where Recount sources 99.9% of its data from? No.

I understand that tying the damage to a specific character is not doable. Is there a way to configure Recount to display the damage of a searing totem as a separate entity entirely? I realize this would be useless in a raid setting by it would be nice in smaller group settings to have that information available.

Hello, awesome add on but is there any hope to have it synch between members? Mostly because 200 yards doesn't seem to be enough for some of the encounters. During VR battle we have massive difference between the different recounts depending on where the player is positioned in the room.
Thanks.

Well, I'm curious how hard it would be to add totem damage. It does show up in my MSBT text. It shouldn't really be THAT hard to include...

It's easy to show in the case that it's a totem you placed being shown in the mod you are running.
The complicated part is showing it when it's someone else's totem on a mod you are running, as there's no way to tell apart multiple totems with the same name.
Totems send pet damage etc. events to the client of the person that placed them, but when you're parsing the combat log for someone else's totem, all you can get as information is that an entity called Searing Totem VII just did 58 fire damage to a mob.
--
Side-note, I was impressed by the fact today that Recount seems to be the first damage meter mod that can merge pets that will still prefer and know first that if there's a player with the same name that the data probably shouldn't be merged with the hunter. It means one of our hunters was lower on my damage meter today, but that beats him having a lot more damage attributed to him than he really should have had.

Are there any plans to make it possible to get rid of the red bar at the top or decrease the size of the bars? I like this addon alot but i don't like how you can't configure the look of it.

Is the merge pet implemented yet? I downloaded the latest version, but "wolf" still showed up in the window when I had a hunter in my party. I didn't actually check during the run, but afterwards when I had left the group and relogged. Maybe that has something to do with it. I've noticed the list resets (everyone except me is removed) when I relogged before.

The pet is merged, but is also show so you can see its own dps. Move your cursor over your own dps and you will see the pet's part.

I just installed Recount a few days ago, and unfortunately it seems to be the source of some lag for me, combat is kind of choppy, not unplayable, but still choppy. I installed Pitbull at the same time, so figured it was one of the two and my suspicions were confirmed when I disabled both and combat returned to normal. I have since reenabled Pitbull at no detrimental performance, so I think Recount is the culprit. As well, one of the hunters in my guild was having the same issues, and they cleared up after I told him to try disabling Recount.
It's a killer tool, and I'll update it and try it again tonight, but unfortunately if that continues, I won't be able to replace SWS with it =/

It may very well be a Pitbull issue or a Pitbull + Recount issue, numerous people in my guild were complaining of extremely low frame rates in combat in SSC this past week, and it seems nearly everyone is using Pitbull these days.

Any plans to improve the "buff and polish" of the mod for us UI metrosexuals? - so the left side of my brain doesn't have to constantly fight off the right? Would love to be able to configure the appearance to match Omen as these two are the new raiding "must haves".
ps. I'm digging the font picker.

Im finding that the accuracy of recount is starting to rival that of SWStats. Ive been running both concurrently for the past two weeks and Recount is showing to be very accurate in comparison. Great work Cryect. Probably just need some more UI type customizations with the frame and colors and it will be golden.
