As long as Omen is running a more recent version of Threat then Recount's Threat doesn't load the other option is to run disembedded (get WAU and install the addons as disembedded). I can add Omen as an optional dependency just in case there was some dependency resulting in Recount loading before Omen. Also if you update both addons at the same time they will both have the most recent version of Threat.

Two bugs that have been around for a few revisions - some of the data recording options don't save from sessions or when upgrading to a new version, I always have to open up the options and re-check the time and buff/debuff recording options. Also, when clicking the 'Stack' option on the graphs, it locks up. No error message, just straight locks up the client. Unfortunately I haven't had time to just let it sit to see if the unlocks, since I always seem to forget and try to stack before a boss attempt :/

I only discovered recount this weekend so perhaps I'm simply doing something wrong, but over the last two raids I've seen what appears to be double counting from a rogue and shadow priest in the data collection. I'm running recount and a synced SWStats and except for those two exceptions everything is spot on. For the rogue and priest, they've got double the damage. And it's only the one rogue. All of the others are tracked normally. Is this something I'm just missing in the configuration panel or worse, something I did? I really hope it's just something I'm overlooking because I'm already addicted to the pie charts.

I'd like to congratulate you Cryect on the creation of a very influencial and useful mod.

This app is making my life, and the life of many others in Ret raids much simpler.

I got the exact same error after updating Recount yesterday. Everything is fine till combat starts, then the "..\AddOns\Recount\Tracker.lua line 268: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'amount' (a nil value)" message spams every three to five seconds.

I use fewer addons than Starpoe, but common addons between us are Bigwigs, Cartographer, Itemrack, Omen, Pitbull, Prat, and Quartz. If needed I can grab the full list when I get home tonight.

actually i've been just a forum reader until now
but this addon is so great i want to be part in it *g
so first this addon is absolutly great work
but seems to me healing done is borken since the last 2 updated versions
and as told in the answers above tracker.lua just gives errors
all the time in the last updated version
nevertheless great work cryect

k now i get it wasn't borken it just counts effective healing
but i think there is a overheal function so it would be nice
to see all healing done by a person ?! maybe with a button
like sws to see healing done / effective healing ??

I too had the same Tracker.lua error last night. Had to disable Recount to get my raid on.

Mod-wise I use a bunch of standard Ace stuff + SWStats. Omen, Bartender, Fubar, Cartographer, etc.

Bug is now fixed. Was a bad one and confusing one (took probably 6 hours or so to track down total).

Heal Buff tracking is in and hopefully working correctly (seems to be for Lifebloom from limited testing but need confirmations on Prayer of Mending and Earth Shield from Priests and Shamans).

The detail data will still be there for everyone except the owner of the Heal Buff but a heal number correction is applied so its not applied to their actual total.

Circle of Healing tracking at least in the latest version is working (or a couple of our priests would have been like 25% of their total healing on trash tonight). Healing was somewhat bugged last night though due to the heal buff tracking code having an issue.

Try out the latest version and see if CoH is working fine or not.

Cryect, thanks for a great mod. I've only used it for 2 days now but 1) it made me register here and 2) it allowed me to tell our MT that maulgar owned him cause he hadn't refreshed his shieldblock in the 6 secs before he died

Now of course the obligatory "but I want something more": It's currently very hard to watch one of the previous fights for details. Most of the views are from the toon or the mob and only then can you drill down to a fight to see part of the data. I use Recount to help ppl improve their play and for that I'd love to be able to see abilities/actions on a per fight base.

First off.... great mod Cryect, discovered it yesterday and have been playing with it all night .

Could i suggest a feature for it though. As a BM Hunter my pet does about 30% of my damage output, however the data on the realtime DPS graph does not include merged pet data. So to get to my point, could the dps on the realtime dps graph include merged pet data too please.

I seem to have a little problem with the font I pick, as in, it doesnt get saved between logins, and always resets back to default. The odd thing is that it does have my old selected font highlighted in the options in green, but I have to reclick it in order to be able to use it. The font I use is SCT Emblem fyi. Not that annoying but might as well let you know

Hm, ok after 2 nights of raiding in SSC and TK I can say that for me the Data is completely wrong. Compared to the raidsynced SW Stats, recount seemed to have missed a lot of dmg/healing, mixed the ranks completely around and overrated my own healing by a lot. According to Recount I did 55% of the raidhealing, even though I set CL-range to 200.

Is there anything I might have missed?

As a raid leader, recount is vastly superior to SW Stats now. The graphs already made it better but the tracking of PoM and ES really put it over the top. Convincing your raid leader to switch to recount should not be difficult.

Much love to Cyrect for implementing my wish list so quickly . If you live in the US/UK/Israel Im pretty sure I could get you a good boring, high paying job if you need one.

Feature request!

The death log feature is superb. It's been the biggest revolution in my RL style in forever. (Kudos to Expiration for being the first mod to do it, btw.)

One of the things I like to use it for is figuring out why tanks die, but it's missing one feature that would be super-useful in that regard. I can tell when a healer isn't healing the tank, and I can tell what damage the tank is taking, but I can't tell what the other healers are doing. I'd like to be able to say "hey, Bob, you were healing Harry, but Harry has bandages, so..."

Would it be possible, on the death log, to have a way to display the healing logs for the entire raid for the same time period? Supersexy would be if there were two synchronized panes, but even another window would be awesome.

I'm going to be overhauling the handling of Pets here shortly as my next major part. So I'm listening on pet ideas but might not respond.

Hmm, not exactly sure what you mean? You just want general stats done for like a comparison basis is that what you mean?

I think I know the issue. The problem is the SCT font isn't loaded till after Recount is loaded but Recount has already used the other font for creating windows.

Lifebloom is being assigned incorrectly to everyone who runs recount. I've released a fix that fixes it though.

Well since I am not using PoH at all this cant have anything to do with it.

Just to summ up my Experiance:

On Morogrin where we all stood in one spot my data was almost as good as SW stats (synced with the hole raid)

Karathress was a mess. The healer who is healing the priesttank ended up with 7k healed over the hole fight (He is standing on the other side of the room) Same with the Priesttank itself who I guess took more then the 10k dmh which Recount recorded.

Vashj where I am standing in the middle was close to stupidity... Dmg from ppl that were killing Elementals were not recorded at all.

Leo was not too bad but it was still not even close to the data from SW stats and again showed me with 2% more healing.


Dont get me wrong, I like this mod and the idea behind it. The mass of info you can get out of it is just amazing. But there is no point doing so if the data it provides is not 99% correct. If I blame a healer on Vashj, who is at the stairs and almost not healing on Recount I need to be sure that its not only because the mod might not record his actions right.

But keeping in mind that all ppl might have the same issues as I do then I suppose some will like it since they end up higher on the list then usual. And with all the data they can even jump out of hiding and tell other why exactly they are so awesome...

So, Is there any way to Sync Recount with all 25 raiders???

Hadria, have you maximized your combat log range? It might be set to something less than 200 yards, which could make you miss data. Other than that I can't think of anything. Recount is always spot-on for me, matching perfectly with whatever anyone else is running, including SWStats or WWS.
