So you have a chart who did most damage to i.e. spitfire totem.

The functionality already exists. You have to enable showing mobs in the meters (I show bosses and non-trivial mobs). Then you go over to "Damage taken" and click on the mob. That'll bring up a sort of meter for that target only. It isn't as pretty as a full-fledged meter, but it gets the job done.

Hey, Cryect
Nice going with the addon it's really starting to mature. One thing I'd like to ask you for though. I've seen that you can now choose between "Overall data", "Current fight" and the 5 last fights. I would be very happy if you could add more fights to it or even a scrollbar to scroll through all of the fights since the last reset of data.
Any chance of that?

<3 Recount
I've turned my guild on to this mod, and they're picking it up before our next Kara run. I was running it last night and someone asked me... is there a way to track killing blows (personal # and a meter for the entire raid) using Recount? I didn't have a lot of time to pour over the mod (and I keep finding new features!) to find out before heading out for the night. Is it possible?

I'd like to second this thought.
As a long time user (as far as this term can be applied to Recount) of your addon I got more and more addicted to it's growing functionality. Today I got one of our Raid Leaders to take a look at it and he was mesmerized.
But then he asked me a question I wasn't able to answer. He wanted to have the data of all the bossfights saved somehow to analyze individual performance of participants AFTER the raid or even the next day.
In the current version I can look up all details of a Boss-Try or -Kill directly after the fight and up to #insert history size here# fights later. But, as far as I understand the system, after fighting some trash groups the data for this particular boss is gone, correct?
So what do I ask for? There would be more than one way to realize what our RL wants. One possibility is to have a way to manually activate/deactivate Recount for fights you don't want recorded (aka. Trash). Another way would be to have the option to somehow mark a recorded fight for keeping so this fight won't be purged from the history.
If this somehow is possible I failed to see how, maybe someone could enlightn me. If it's not possible call this post a feature request.
Btw: Yes I am aware that this "Analysis after raid evening" could be done with a WWS-Parse but up til now noone in our guild bothered with using WWS. And if it can be possible to do it ingame with the Multitude of Graphs Recount offers, why not do it this way.

Fascinating, isn't it?

Recount is wonderful, I'm gradually hooking my entire guild on it
I do have a small request however, I was wondering if you could add a way to more easily switch to specific sections of data. For instance I spend most of my time on a raid flipping between two pages, Damage Done and Deaths, but the only way I've been able to find to get between those two sections is to hit the arrow keys several times. Some sort of menu you could select from would be a godsend.
Another thing that might be kind of useful, I have a tendency to start a raid and forget to reset my data prior to the raid start. It might be nice to have an option to ask if you want to reset the data when zoning into an instance.
One more thing that drives me a little nuts is I like the autohide on combat feature, but I find it seems to be based on if anyone (or at least anyone with Recount) is in combat not just me. Sometimes it'll just go nuts flickering in and out, which I guess means someone else is doing something to bring themselves into combat like using dark pact. This is just a theory of course but the behavior has got me switching to just closing the window now for combat, which I don't like as much. I was wondering if the functionality could be tweaked somehow. Or that minimize option like what Recap has would be a nice alternative

Right click your mouse on the words "DAMAGE DONE" on the title bar and you'll get a menu.

I have to mark this as one of my "cannot live without" add-ons.
Two requests I would like to throw in:
1) Raid DPS entry for the last encounter (I know this isn't the first request). The realtime graphs are nice, but there really is no way to persist/review the data so they just seem more like eye candy to me from a standpoint of usefulness. Don't get me wrong, they are still fun to look at.
2) Storing the graph data. For instance, when I am on the "Damage Done" report and go to the graph I would like for it to remember my last layout so I don't have to click the plus button to include damage and then normalize (or is it integrate - brain freeze) so I can get the correct view. As it stands, I have to do this for every chart I open and it would be nice to be able to keep these settings persistent.
One issue I have within my UI is that I use the Default (Callibri) fonts and when I look at the damage details the text does not line up with the rows correctly. Is this a known issue with ClearFont (or certain font faces) or might it be related to UI scaling?

I am still having this syncing problem, most of my guildmates uses sw_stats, and I can't seem to be able to sync with them, we are all getting different values like on my meter, it shows me as 2nd and on theirs its 3rd and numbers are different too.

I don't think it is supposed to sync with SWS. Or did something in the change notes escape my attention?

It syncs with itself. I'm unaware of any damage meters that support other addons in this way, and quite frankly it would be a pita to implement.

Only with itself afaik.
And I wouldn't think syncing with other damage meters is a good idea (at least unless you can switch it off). You can't control their structure, or if they are counting accurately, if they change their protocol, you have to update as well, etc.

Recount is exceptionally accurate. This is due to it, by default, expanding your combat log range to 200y.
One person will probably see all data in a fight, barring one or two spells, two people synced will probably provide complete coverage. There is no reason to force your raid t one flavor or the other.

Could you please make priests Spirit of Redemption not count as a death too? Each time a priest dies, it counts as 2 deaths.

Pets are being considered as "Non-trivial mobs", as in they won't appear in the data windows unless I check the box to show non-trivial mobs. The following windows (and possibly more which I can test later if you want) are affected by this:
Damage Taken
Healing Done
Healing Taken
OH Done
Deaths
CC Breakers
Avtivity (Both shown)
In the Activity window, it shows the normal bar for my pet but it also shows a seperate bar with the same name as my pet but as a non-trivial mob. I'll try to get a screenshot of it if I'm not being very clear.

200 yard range on Combat Log does not give you all the data "barring one or two spells". You can easily see this by syncing some logs for WWS sometime, and looking at how much additional data is contained in the second and third log.
For me, it usually goes:
<first log>
<second log> +4.x%
<third log> +0.7%
<fourth log> +0.1% (i.e. nothing)

REQUESTED FEATURE: on/off in battlegrounds checkbox
I find that after running only a couple EOTSs or AVs that the memory usage of Recount is huge (sometimes 20-30mb+). I have to clear the data and force a memory dump to get the usage back to normal. I honestly would really appreciate the ability to set recount to just not work in battlegrounds, or only track my data in battlegrounds. (Without me having to change a setting before doing pvp, and then changing it back to do pve)
-Thanks

Last couple of days while solo playing (farming) I've seen an abnormality where my character name shows up twice in the Damage Done view, with different values for each entry (one will have X dmg done, the other Y dmg done). Anyone else seen that?

Yes, I have noticed this as well. It seems to be a bug with the automatic switching between current and last fight option. Once I disabled that I no longer was seeing double entries.

This might already be possible, and if it is I haven't found it... but is there a way to use this mod to tell if someone (mainly a tank) was crit at all throughout the fight, and if so how many times?

Not sure if this thread is for RecountFu as well as for Recount - feel free to delete if not.
In RecountFu, would it be possible to have a text display of your current DPS in the bar, like CombatStats does?
