I have one little request/suggestion perhaps, but I don't know the right English terminology, I'll try anyway: would it be possible to round percentages up or down to a tenth or a hundredth in the details window? Or perhaps only when they get as little as <5%, I don't know. Right now getting a 1% miss on melee means your miss rate is somewhere between 0.50 & 1.49 I suppose, which makes a fairly large difference when talking about thousands of hits. I'm running around with 291 hit rating and usually get 0% or 1%, a bit higher accuracy would be awesome

I'll second the call for that - things like hit/miss/dodge rates really need a higher accuracy.

PoM tracking was not working at all for me last night. Both my wife and I had the very latest recount. All PoM were still attributed to the person with the buff, not the caster of the buff.

Hello there.

Exceptional job on this mod, great info in a great package.

My only problem is that even if i check the merge pet data, i still see the pet getting in the list. If i have gotten this correctly i think that the mod only gets the white damage of the pet in the list while it still merges the white damage with the skills in master's damage.
Thanks again for a great mod.

Edit: I have edited this like 5 times to make the text more understandable :P

Right now I'm having a rather hefty memory usage.
It was at about 16 MB after 2, and now 24 MB after 2.5 hours of raiding.

Updated before the raid, the last version I used while raiding (about a week ago) didn't have such a memory usage as far as I can remember.

Stopped Playing

I don't think this can work can it? Maybe you'd be able to get the first bounce, say if I cast PoM on someone and they get healed by it recount may remember that it was my PoM, but after that it's just random and I don't think the game attributes PoM's to a certain person.

Yes, you can attribute a PoM maybe if you are the only priest, but if there are two PoM's in the raid it'd probably be impossible to track.

Alright you can now change the colors of Realtime windows by right clicking the graph.

No, its not. You can identify PoM's fine since 2.1 though considering going Roartindon's solution, which would allow you to track more than just yours. Especially since current method doesn't seem to be working as planned.

The pet is still in the list because you have pets shown. It merges the entire pet damage but pets still can be shown as separate entities

Sounds like I might have a memory leak with the new fight system.

I need to do something useless.

For the last couple weeks I've been having trouble with DamageMeters and finally got around to tracking down the source of the problem, turns out it's Recount. Basically whenever Recount is loaded DamageMeters has trouble parsing data about anyone but myself. I skimmed through this thread and found refrences to SW_Stats causing these types of issues with it's FixLogStrings component but I don't(and haven't for a long time) have SW_Stats installed. I did notice there is a FixLogStrings.lua included with recount now but I can't say if its appearance coincided with the problem.

Any suggestion on how I can get both of these mods working at the same time again would be greatly appreciated. I apologize in advance if my skimming missed an already posted solution.

In Recount's Options, under one of the tabs there should be an option entitled "Fix Ambiguous Log Strings" disable this option, that should fix your problem.

Just curious, why do you still keep DamageMeter if you already use Recount?

I can't seem to tell whether recount is syncing or not? it's suppose to sync automatically with other damage meters, but there's no syncing button...any ideas?

Thanks a ton, this fixed it right up. Hopefully having it off won't cause issues for Recount.

I really like the DPS mode of DamageMeters for per-fight information, ctrl+hover makes it easy to look at detailed parsing on the fly as well. I don't like how the "current fight" option in Recount clears when you leave combat but it's very nice for the real time graphs and studying the totals.

Not sure of their reason, but I run Recap and Recount both. Recount has nice graphs and tracks some things that Recap does not, such as CC breaking. But when you want to dig down to the details, Recap lets you drill down in an intuitive way: hover over something to pop up, click to stick it up, then repeat on a detail to get more details. You literally drill down, concentrating on the details you're looking for, and the hover-or-click method lets you go fast for a quick look or dwell on things to analyze.

Recount seems to give you overviews or an all-encompassing table. I haven't sat down and compared Recount's details table to all that you can get in Recap's details tables, but Recap lets you focus in better and it feels like it actually gives you more.

I use Recap to look at my stats and perhaps a tactical level, while I use Recount to look at more of a task-oriented level. And Recount's graphs are nice, too. I wish you could track procs in Recount, so you could see, for example, how often something proc'd and when it was up during a fight.

PoM tracking seemed to work correctly last night in the single priest case. I don't know about multiple priests yet.

I did notice I'd get messages in arenas from the other team's priest which is a bit strange but I guess expected.
