Since this is an active topic, I've had a funny problem with healthstone macros lately.

I've tried using a macro for the times when I have multiple healthstones, just a simple /use Master Healthstone.
Problem is, no matter how many healthstones I actually have in my bag, it only shows 1 on the icon. When I use the first healthstone, it shades out and displays 0 even if I have one or two more in my bags. Further, later when I get a new stone, the macro icon/tooltip often doesn't even update then!

I have this issue since day 1.
I think the reason is because the different healthstones are actually different items and hence have a different item id as well. Numbers only show for items that share the same id, which is not the cause here.
It wouldn't bother me, but the icon going to inactive *is* kind of annoying.

I'm currently using this macro:
#showicon Charged Crystal Focus
/use Master Healthstone
/use Charged Crystal Focus
The icon won't shade out, but you won't have the correct count either (you get the count for CCF regardless of how many HSes you have).

Is it possible to use the item IDs in the macro instead then?
/use 29734
/use 23984

Like that? (Not real IDs above)

Euh, I think you missed this post on the previous page: http://elitistjerks.com/533643-post24.html ?

edit: and using that always shows the count of the first item in the list for me.

Sorry should have elaborated - what I meant, if we use the Item IDs does the macro button show the correct number of healthstones when using the '?' icon?

No, it will behave exactly as if you had the item name instead of its ID.

Which means we're still at square one in that macros do not recognize healthstones properly.

Not really, its just a display issue now, but the macro is spammable and goes from highest>higher>low Healthstones.

edit: Anyway, thats my pov. I dont consider the display issue that much of a pain, I'm too happy with my spammable macro.
