Keybinds Mod?

I'm looking for a keybindings mod that has the ability to switch between a set of bindings based on certain conditions, such as stance/form changes.

I play a raiding feral that switches roles often, sometimes in mid-fight, and as I also play on a laptop (and I'm extremely lazy) I don't have a usable numpad. I hate clicking in bear form, which I sometimes find myself doing. Most of my binds are for cat form, and ideally I'd like a mod that could switch binding sets based on the form that I'm in; i.e., in cat, E is mangle(cat), and the same key would be mangle(bear) in bear form or healing touch in caster form.

Of course, this might not even be possible due to protected functions. Anybody know?

Stances specifically is possible, you can bind keys directly to macros using a mod (I forget the name offhand) or to a hotbar slot containing a macro. The macro would look something like

#showtooltip [stance:1]Mangle (Bear); [stance:3]Mangle (Cat); Healing Touch
/cast [stance:1]Mangle (Bear); [stance:3]Mangle (Cat); Healing Touch

I've done this via Bongos for a rogue - stealthed/nonstealthed abilities sharing the same keybinding. I just had the bars switch when I stealthed.

You won't be able to rebind abilities to different keys in combat. However, you can use stance-modified macros and then bind a key or slot to that macro, as tunah pointed out.

Thats not it, you just have to have bar mod which changes bars while u change stances/shapeshift, i as a warrior have 3 stances and it would be very annoying to have all buttons binded.

EDIT: if I understood your problem correctly that is.

I'm really confused now. What is wrong with the existing bars use of this? My main is a Moonkin and we recently got included in the shifting bars that are automatically supplied. Key bindings remain the buttons that are flipped into.

I'm one of those few weirdos who doesn't like to use actionbars very much, if at all -- my main goal is to only have an action bar for abilities that I don't use very often, like a battle rez or something similar, and have my other abilities that I use more often bound to keys and not on bars.

I suppose I could use a mod like BT3 and set up bars with keybindings and then hide them, but I don't know if paging works on a hidden bar.

In any case, the macros tip is a good start, thanks.

Sounds like you need nurfed actionbars can setup all your bindings and then just set the bars to a hidden state and never have to worry about it.

You don't need nurfed for that, default actionbars do this (you can hide them in interface options and they still work), as does bartender3 and presumably any other bar addon.
