Can't help notice that's a compass point on that white ring. Disable your minimap mod(s) and try them one at a time to find one you like. They're not getting along together:

- simpleminimap
- ricominimap
- squeenix
- chinchilla

Chinchilla, that last one mentioned, has a "range indicator" that looks a lot like this ring, but it's intended to display ONLY on the map. This looks like the result of a bug where that addon isn't the only thing altering the minimap. It's also the best of the four that I listed; there may be others that I haven't seen or remembered.

The community is named "Elitist Jerks" and it lives up to its name. I'm not going to be a schmuck to you, but you should arrive with your eyes open that eventually someone's going to click on that little "Report post" button.

This sounds like Chronometer or ClassTimers2. Try the both of the following and see if one (or both!) are installed:

/cd2
/chronometer

From there you should be able to find an option for a configuration gui (menu, waterfall, config, try these options) that will offer a choice to either "lock" (uncheck this) or "show anchor" (check this). At that point the thing should become draggable with your left mouse button and, if not, hold the ALT key while you drag.

Don't forget to lock them when you're happy with the position.

You can make macros for ClosetGnome quite easily:

/cast Berserker Stance
/cg wear ZomgDPSOutfit

Where "ZomgDPSOutfit" is the name of your preferred outfit for that stance. I can never remember the stance numbers, but someone here may be kind enough to pm you the parameter syntax to make sure that macro will ONLY work when you're NOT in 'zerker stance.

Occasionally I think that my healer team are not reacting as fast as they should be, or are cast canceling heals when they have been specifically told to land everything. An extreme case of this is Gurtogg Bloodboils Fel Rage target in Phase two.

We have discussed tactics to getting heals on this target fast etc - mainly suggesting the use of targets target healing macro's - but some weeks (like this one) I find myself tearing my hair out as each FR target dies.

I would like to find a mod which allows me to have a combat log style record of time stamped healing only. So that I can see if there is any one healer who consistently fails to land heals quickly and frequently - this will help me narrow the problem down and to work towards a solution, whether that is training that healer to react faster, or to just bring a different healer.

I have messed about with the 2.4 Combat Log that Blizzard provide but it doesn't able to show 'just' healing. What I am looking for is the indication that a cast has started and that a heal has landed, time stamped and signed by the character.

Does anybody know a mod or idd a way to sort out the Log to show purely healing information with no spam from dps casts and other stuff?

Pretty sure you can set up a new filter in the combat log that will show spell events of healing landing and being cast. target deaths, etc and filter everything else out. For time stamps you'll need to get a chat mod like chatterbox or prat.

I am looking for an addon to monitor cooldowns with a specific features: It has to display the cooldown bar/timer for each individual skill at a fixed position. Preferably, it'd display the skill icon and a cooldown timer on or next to it. Basically it's supposed to look like an action bar that only shows buttons when there's a cooldown.
Any suggestions?

I have tried messing about with the Blizzard Combat Log. Even though I have unticked every option for my new Combat Log and worked from the ground up it still seems like you cannot separate healing casts from dps casts. It is also not showing HoT ticks (even though it is set to apparently show them). And yet I am still getting random information when standing in Shaatrath such as being told Alliance Player X is has created a Netherweave Bandage <--- this is clearly not within the parameters that I have set - that of being Me/Friend only and spell cast success, HoT ticks etc.

Basically it just seems buggy and incomplete. So I was hoping to find a 3rd party Mod that could sort it out for me.

All of these mods change the order of the bars and you won't know where a spell cooldown is to be found. I want to know where to look for a certain spell even before i took a first glance at the bars.

Edit: Ooops! It seems like I should have taken a closer look at CooldownWatch. Apparently it does exactely what I want it to do. Thanks!

Edit2: You cannot hide the buttons when there's no cooldown, so this addon clutters up your screen just as much as regular action bars :/

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what this Combat text mod is, but I saw it from a video so I can't capture a screen shot for you guys to help me. Though I'll try to explain in detail what this combat text does. It has really nice splash animations and it also has spell icons instead of text. The incoming dmg combat text would zoom out from the bottom left of the character then splashes. And if taking alot of dmg at once, it would splashes in random spots (Though still in the same general area). This is the same for outgoing dmg but just on the opposite sides.

I recently switched over to Pitbull, and while I like it much better than I did Xperl, I miss the "Big Buff/Debuff" option in Xperl.

Anyone know if there is a module or layout I can import with this feature? Tried several different things, and cant seem to get it to work the same way.

I've recently started a shaman and I'm looking for a pretty simple totem timer mod. I'm using ClassTimers at the moment and, ideally, it'd be something that I can configure to look like that to have it blend into the rest of my UI.

I tried YATA but I couldn't find an option anywhere to change the totem timer colors from the default bright green. Then I tried GotWood and thought the candybar timers were perfect... but again, no option to change their colors (but you could change the text colors. Why not bars too?). The last one I tried was enhancer, but I must have had a bad version or some conflict because it didn't actually do anything when I loaded.

So... any suggestions? Non Ace mods are fine as well.

Is there a mod that has the Pulse options of OmniCC without the actual cool down portion? While I like the cooldowns showing on bars, I dont like them showing on my unitframe buffs/debuffs. Id much rather have it NOT override those.

If you happen to be using Pitbull, I believe there's an option in Auras somewhere to supress OmniCC on buffs/debuffs. I *think* it's in the Global Settings -> Auras menu somewhere, but I don't remember for sure.
