This is close, but not exactly correct. The issue is that you can't make clickable frames dynamically during combat. The circumvent for what he's looking for would be to have a "ghost" bar for each of his DoTs that would be around all of the time, would update duration, and would only be able to cast on his current target (or focus, or anything else that is similarly static). It would be clunky at best, since it would always be visible, and I've never been a fan of clicking to cast when you know what your target is ahead of time.

I'm using Hal's UI and LiTheTooltipDoctor isn't in the package but CowTip is, although CowTip only modifies players/targets/units/mobs etc.. tooltips not item tooltips.
Any other ideas?
Thanks for the help

Nadal tooltip icons are not in the game by default. This means that no mod is "hiding" the icon, you just don't have a mod that creates tooltip icons.
Download DamnTekkub or a similar mod and tell me if you still don't have any item tooltip icons.

What's the name of the mod which will automatically report debuff types and durations in chat when they are applied to you?
Used to have it a while ago, saw a druid with it today and thought it would be pretty nice to have again.
E: Did you read what I typed at all, Jemsky..?

Has anyone run into a good Party timer mod? In particular I would like to see totem timers on other toons but of course would benefit from other spells as well.
I have tried:
The old version of totemtimer
sorren timer
DoTimer
A few are out of date while the others do not work at all.
I have been following the Natur ECB thread and have tried some of the alternatives with no luck.
Has anyone had any success in finding something that works?

Does anyone knows if there's still a downloadable version (prefer 6.0, 8.0 or 9.0 :P) of Duke's UI? I lost my UI after my harddisk crashed.

Does anyone have a lightweight mod that allows me to move the PvP Towers/capture objectives? I tried doing a post search here and got a few results, but no one ever answered them or seemed to have found an answer:
UI Help Center
WHAT'S THAT MOD???
2.0 UI
Capping (unless changed) doesn't do this and I'd rather not use MoveAnything. I already use SimpleMiniMap and is doesn't not allow you to move the towers.

Try using chinchilla over simpleminimap, that allows you to move that.

Fizzler:
Not sure what you want so I am just going to ask.
"I would like to see totem timers on other toons"
Do you mean that you would like a mod that allows you to see if other players have your totems and how long until the totem fades?
The new totem timer has dots that track if your party has your totem buff and of course the timer with pulses.
Satrina's Buff Frame includes totem durations (and an option to disclude them) in the buff frame on any character.
Pitbull allows you to see buffs and durations for your party and other units.
(As always you cannot see the durations on buffs that you did not cast.)

I appreciate the response Syra. What I am looking for is timers on spells/buffs/totems etc that were cast by other members of my party. I dual-box allot and party with my younger nephew who is still learning the game. When I am boxing with my Shamans I want to be able to see the timers left on the totems they have laid down, I can easily see when the beneficial ones expire using Pitbull but the offensive spells I am blind to. It will also come in handy for when I am on vent with my nephew to remind him when to toss down totems or spells until he gets the hang of it.
Hopefully that will give you a better idea of what I am looking for. The old Totem Timer would send timer information on to other users the new one is a total rewrite and does not do this or at least does not appear to. Someone took over Sorren Timers which did the same thing but for some reason this only works sometimes.
Again I appreciate the feedback.

I'm pretty sure addons are losing this functionality because the coding that used to make it work has been broken. This is part of the reason DPS meters don't actually sync anymore between players, the way they used to handle syncing has been made impossible by Blizzard if I recall correctly. I think these days the only way to do something like that is to have the addon constantly monitoring the combatlog for the abilities/totems, but I understand this is pretty intensive on the memory/cpu and therefore not a preferable way to do things.

What mod creates that xp bar that is slim and in bright neon(ish) colors? Edit: I think it also included a spark/glimmer graphic.
It was a weekly highlight on wowinterface.com awhile back, but I can't navigate to those old posts anymore.

If you have FuBar, FuXPFu is what you're looking for I believe.

The artwork was done by myself in Photoshop, and was imported in-game using eePanels2. If you know how to use Photoshop or any other software of the likes, I can assist with setting up eePanels2 and getting the layout 100%.

Is there an easy way to add spell cast to right mouse click?
I was wondering if there is an addon or an easy way to add /cast SPELLNAME to the right click dropdown menu on player frames. I heal very rarely so do not want a new addon, was hoping to add 2 healing spell options to the right click dropdown menu.
Thanks.

You could look at something like Click2Cast (wowace.com). You click on the unit frames as opposed to using the menu but it's very simple to setup and easy to use. I play a shadow priest and have all my heals set up for click-casting for those Oh Shit-moments and for the odd 5 man I get suckered into healing.
