Sadly no picture, nor am I sure this mod is available for TBC either.
You could create 'frames' with it, coloured however you wanted and thier only purpose was to filter out the game while allowing other parts of your UI to be placed ontop of them.
Its a stab in the dark but if anyone can remember...

This is more a "does that mod exist and I can't find it?" than a "what's that mod?"

Is there some sort of customizable energy bar? I know rogues are lol ezmode and whatnot, but I'd like to be able to have a large, fixed-width energy bar that I can move around my screen. There are several tick-monitors, but that's not really what I need as much as a customizable version of the resource bar on the character frame.

Statusbars might do that. Unfortunately, it is not in development any longer. It works though, I am using it myself.

I use StatusBars myself (since a very very long time), and it's definitely one of the mods I cannot play without.
While I really like it and it is still working, I was wondering if there is something available that is still being updated.
I'd hate to lose this mod because of another LUA/addon/security/whatever change.

Have a look at kEnergy highly customizable, shows CP, energy, tick... just a matter of taste and configuration i guess.

I myself think the energy bar of pitbull is sufficient for me

Some time ago I was watching a PvP video where the paladin had a mod which would show a relatively big icon in the middle of the screen whenever a cooldown was finished. Anyone know the name of this mod?

Way back i used to have this awesome pvp addon, it gave me a message when an enemy nearby "gained" something like for example

"rogue gains stealth"
"mage gains presence of mind"

also gave warning when someone was casting something at me like a hunter using aimedshot.

Really miss this addon, anyone know of it or anything similar?

I am looking for a mod that tracks and displays the number of times I have Lifebloom stacked on targets as well as a countdown bar ( I use Grid Hot Status now)

Is there a mod that allows you to take an existing buff icon and move/resize it, but keep the existing graphic? As a rogue I would like to take the Slice and Dice icon and customize its size and location. I find the SnD timers that exist counterintuitive personally(Castbar style etc).

I know it's not exactly what you're asking for here, but I really like IceHUD's energy display with built-in tick monitor.

And to continue this slight derail, what are people using for a Slice and Dice timer these days? I started using NeedToKnow a while back, but have never been happy with the way it displayed the bars (specifically the lack of configuration options). I never got to try oDEPS, and it sounds like recent changes to the underlying libraries have broken it and there's no ETA on a working version. Any good alternatives

Debuff Filter will do that, you can track both buffs and debuffs with it. Highly recommended.

I'm still sticking to DiscoDice for SnD. I've set it up to match the width of my StatusBars energy, combo and health display.

Is there a mod that can get rid of the red error text that displays in the top-middle of the screen whenever you try to use an ability that's on cooldown/out-of-range/etc...?

I spam a lot of buttons when tanking and don't really need to see "Ability Not Ready" when I'm banging the Shield Slam button as it's coming off cooldown. I would love a mod that takes that away.

I'd also like a mod that did this.. I recently changed my UI up and have a viewport/skinner bar ant the bottom and the error text needs to be moved up because it's in my way now :P something to move it or disable it would be awesome.

Recently I assembled a UI using most addons from the PrimordialUI-compilation. Although most parts of it are working nice im still lacking a few things and having some problems with some addons. The UI looks like this: http://img363.imageshack.us/my.php?i...7135749ra7.jpg

1.) I wonder if theres an addon that allows me to get rid of tooltips or to customise them (change the spot where they appear). So that not every time i hoover my mouse over a button there pops a tooltip in the right down corner blocking the sight of things ive placed there.

2.) Using aguf to customise my Player; Target and Targets Target I find im lacking a few things. Id like to modify the size of the auras (buff/debuff) shown on the player/target/targets target frame - make them a lot bigger.
Id like to modify the castingbar as shown on the Target-frame, if possible detach it from the frame all together.
Perhaps this is possible with one of the addons i alrdy got with my primordialUI-compilation, or do I have to get additional addons?

3.) Using this UI-compilation I noticed I can no longer toggle such windows as the Social-; the Spellbook- and the Questlogwindow while im in combat (when im part of a raid atleast). Seeing this as highly annoying, id like to know how I can fix this; what addon is responisble for it, and what addon i need to fix it?

Any help with these questions is highly appreciated, thnx!

1) TinyTip, CowTip or any similar Tooltip addon will be able to do that for you.
2) Have a look at PitBull for the Unitframes, its kinda evolved ag_uf. If you want to go further into aura stuff, there is a mod for it to modify that specifically, but i sadly cant recall its name at the moment.
3) That will mostly happen due to an addon breaking the Secure() Environment lockdown during combat, because its not updated for 2.x UI's. Have a look through your addons if any of them are outdated, especially those related to the mentioned windows.

Is there a mod out there that lets me bind a key to a "toggle action bars" command? I want to keep my action bars visibly off of my screen unless I actually need to click something, and I'd also like them to appear with a key press.

Bartender will let you do that using SHIFT, ALT, or CTRL.
