Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows of an addon that is like a mob (or boss) swing timer where it calculates the attack speed of your current target and shows you when the actual damage is about to hit..

for example you know how quartz has a melee/autoshot timer.. i want that for mobs or bosses (Basically so i can pre emptive heal really well)

Okay, so here's a weird request (again :p):

I'm looking for a "raid frame" mod (like Grid, Pitbull, etc), but I'd need one who would be highly customisable depending of the boss I'm facing. As some mods are able to activate/deactivate themselves automatically when you face a boss (thing oRa2), I figure this would be doable but can't think of any mod who would actually do it.

In short, pitbull tags fits perfectly for all my needs, excepted for my "this player has less than 8k5 hp" warning. I use it for Naj'Entus, but I find it disturbing during other fights where I need to access my informations quickly. And activating/deactivating a tag each time I face a specific boss is quickly boring :-/.

Another you may want to keep an eye on is Dock. The current beta allows docking/undocking by keypress.

Thanks, I will try minichat when I get home. It does look like what I want. It seems it is compatible with Prat aswell.

Dock is something I've been watching for a time now, and not just because of the ability to move chatframes.

Hope an open beta or full release is going to be released anytime soon.

Unfortunatly it didn't work out with Minichat. What it seems to do is hide the complete chatwindow, including all the attached tabs.

I just want to switch tabs.
I've got two chatwindows open and one contains all the systemmessages, General, Trade, Say and Yell. The other contains Guild, Party, Raid, Battleground, Whisper and Channels.

The 2nd tab of the main chatwindow is the Combatlog, and I want that to pop in front when I click or press a button. Could do that with the chat unlocked in the interface, but that makes it lightup on mousover.

Still awaiting Dock, but looking for other options in the meantime.

Sorry, bit of OCD here.

I think Seito made a macro that scrolled through all the tabs.. Search for posts by Sovereignty here or on the wowace forums.

But is there an addon that will take all you addon icons and be able to move them into its own seperate frame? and if so wats the name?

Well i have been looking for a while and can't seem to find out how to get the border around the mini map like in this screen shot, can anyone help?
I'm trying to get that border they have around the mini map, also trying to make my buttons square like that i'd assume it is one mod that dose it.

Minimap Border

The border is probably eePanels. I don't know if there is an addon that does the square buttons but if you search the forums, there is information on how to do it by changing texture files manually.

I'm looking for a small, lightweight Mod that will show me a few pieces of extra character information at a glance - namely, my total armour penetration, and my total avoidance (block+dodge+parry+miss, and also the same without block). Either something that is a small inconspicuous window (ala Meleeframe), or something that would expand the character display to add it to the normal stats shown in the MFDs.

This is called "coolDown" and it's available from the WAU or http://wowace.com/files/coolDown/coolDown.zip

If you want to be able to move it, you will also need IFrameManager and IFrameFactory also from the same source(s).

Is there some mod (other than SmartBuff) that will yell at me when I don't have specific buffs? In particular, I tend to forget Demonic Sacrifice a lot if I haven't died or not notice that I'm out of totem range. Something (that I could turn on and off) that would warn me when these weren't up would be fantastic.

I quit playing Warcraft for 8 months and in the course of trying to rebuild my UI I am having a hard time finding some of the mods i used to have. The most important one I am missing, that i have searched Curse and Wowace for, let me zoom away from my character enough so that it looked like i was playing an RTS, any ideas? (big screen resolutions are a pain...)

This feature used to be available in an ace addon called oTweaks. However: the ability to do this has changed in 2.2 or 2.3 because the max camera distance is being validated when the game loads. I also don't believe you can change this above the in-game maximum of 30 or 50 units even after entering the game world.

In short: the maximum value on the in-game slider is really the maximum distance allowed now.

I'm in the process of completely removing CTRA but there's one functionality that I would like to have, but can't seem to find in another mod, which is how it announces to the chat window that "Player X" or "X Players" have been debuffed by "Name of Debuff" (Type) when people get Magic/Disease/Curse/Poison on them. I don't need anything to remove the debuffs, I just want to know who is getting these debuffs and the name of the debuff plus type of debuff and have this in my chatlog.

You can replace that, and all the rest of CTRA with oRA2 and BigWigs. Both of these available in the WAU or from wowace.com. oRA2 is considered a package, so it will be easier to get all the right pieces if you use the WAU.

I'm not sure about penetration, but the other stats can be shown in tank points (available from the WAU) and its just in the character panel.

I use power auras (available from curse) to do this, puts big flashy graphics up when I'm missing, say my aura or RF.

http://www.wowace.com/wiki/ORA2 says that oRa2 doesn't have that feature. I already have Decursive, and I haven't found an option that outputs the "live list" to the chat log.

I used vChat back in the day, then Prat when it broke. Now vChat works again, but I can't hit the left and right arrow keys to move left and right though the text (normally alt+left/right) like I could before. Is there another mod that can do this, or does someone know an option that I am missing?
