SimpleMiniMap does what you're looking for Philberr. Under the menu that appears when you right-click the minimap, you choose Show, then deslect what you don't want to show.

In this screenshot, what is the "SCT-like" mana regen that shows the symbols along with the amount gained?

Also, there is a mod that functions like spell-alert, however it is color coded and can filter out spells to your liking (that isn't WitchHunt). Anyone able to help me out on that one?

Preferably shows info like mobhealth, but definitely needs to show who it is targeting on mouseover.

Thought that'd be Tinytip, but apparently that hasn't been updated in 3 months.

I personally use TinyTip because of its simplicity but for lots of detail and info like health, you wanna check out CowTip which can be found on the wowace site.

Looking for a Mod that will allow you to Put on gear (ideally with enchants, gems) that you don't have and view what your stats would be with those items.

A cross between tank points and alas loot?

Are there any mods that can filter unwanted tracking dots from the minimap? For instance, I don't want to see dots for Glowcap, Flamecap, or Blindweed when Tracking Herbs in Zangarmarsh.

On post 19 of "Post Your UI" there is a nice layout that I've tried to mimic. Just want to ask a few questions about it that you guys may be able to answer.

What is the black boarder that surrounds his chatlog and action buttons that go across the entire bottom width of the screen, I've seen it in quite alot of submitted UI and never figured out what it is.

Secondly, I am using Prat and Bartender3 and when I try to hotkey (shift + f) to my /focus macro it gives me an error and doenst work(cant remember the details of the error message, but it's something about prat not recognizing the format used for the macro as if it's an outdated version but I do seem to have the most up-to-date version), any idea why/what im doing wrong? The macro im using is a simple /focus.

And finally, I'm looking for a simply tooltip mod that places the tooltip on the cursor itself wether it's to the right/bottom/left of the cursor, or where ever you may choose, bonus if it has other useful/customizable information that the user may choose.

I'm sure some of these questions have been asked a million times and I have read the majority of this thread some time ago, forgive me if I'm to lazy to parse through it again.

There is a action bar mod that gives a glassy look to your skills. What the heck is the name of it?

Currently using Bongos and it is too RAM intensive and it just had a bunch of extra crap that I don't need.

CyCircled with Vol skin. AFAIK it works with Bongos since CyCircled is a skinner for action bars but BarTender3 is the bar addon most people use it with.

The viewport shrinking is done with Aperture. It's not a border, it's simply the shrinking of the 3d world.

The default UI has options to set keybindings for that. Under targetings functions. No need to use a macro for that.

Cowtip can most likely do that.
