I love that whole setup! Does anyone know of a compilation similar to this? I'm not too computer savy so it's easier for me to cut and paste these types of things when I find something new.

I am looking for a clean way to look at everyone's mana during a 25-person raid... basically just the mana bars in a separate window so I can see how mana levels are, where shadow priests should live, etc. Mostly to eyeball mana levels during various fights for future optimization. Any suggestions? I currently use xperl and that's about it.

You can use xraidstatus to show the mana of the raid as a whole, or certain classes together, or classes separately. Another idea is if you want to see every players mana to install Pitbull, disabling all other modules leaving just raid on, and configure it to only show mana bars + names.

I use GridManaBars with Grid to monitor mana. As mentioned, XRaidStatus is also quite good for this purpose.

I quit WoW before TBC came and am just coming back... working on building my UI. How do people get the chat bar to have a pretty border and the tabs to go away? I tried using Prat but couldn't figure out how to do this. I've been doing a lot of looking around, so I hope this isn't obvious. Any guides on how to use the most common addons (eepanels I think was mentioned a lot, though can't quite wrap my mind around what it does, and Buffalo2, etc.,) would be much appreciated. Particularly a readme for Grid, though I know there is a thread on it and I'm reading it.

One last thing, I gather that Totems can no longer be recast by clicking on the timer because of the no modifying frames in combat change. Is there a Totem addon that is at similar? It used to be I could left click the timer to recast the last cast totem in a group, right click to bring up a list of all totems in that element, and click one of those and it'd cast it, then the new timer icon would be the just cast totem. Is there any way to do something similar to this anymore? And please don't say Flexbar2. >.<

Numen is a pretty good Shaman totem/weapon enchant mod, and Totem Timers worked pretty well for me before I decided to switch to all Ace mods. YATA may work, too, but I haven't used it.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm looking for a mod which can emulate the chat tabs, but for other mods. I.E. I want my Recount, Omen, and zone map to occupy the same space, with a tab for each. I looked at Dock, and it comes close, but the video shows a need to click off one tab before clicking on another. Is it possible to get what I want from Dock, namely that undocking the Recount frame will auto-dock the Omen and zone map frames? Failing that, is there another mod that will create the effect I'm looking for?

If neither is possible, I can have Omen only show up in combat in a group, and Recount only out-of-combat (not sure about only in a group?), is there any way to get the zone map to automatically hide in a group unless I have a key held? I'd say I don't need it in a group at all, but some group quests are useful having the zone map up.

Numen is pretty good actually, almost just what I was looking for. Except the "timer" function isn't numbers, it's like a standard Blizzard cooldown thing. Not quite as helpful, but better. I can use Gotwood+Numen or something, will look ugly but be useful. Hopefully I can find a better solution eventually.

I'm fairly sure that's not possible anymore because you can't target someone via pure scripting, it requires user input (you clicking them).
