Does anyone know the Mod that allows you to mouse over an Npc/player and basically it gives there info right at the mouse icon. The blizz one is getting annoying showing up at the bottom right of my screen atm.

I found it, it was CowTip.

If you use BigWigs bossmods, you can create a custom bar with the command /bwcb 30 Invisible! (correct me if the syntax is wrong) that will add a countdown bar lasting 30 seconds that flashes the provided text at the end.

I heard of ParryPal, which whispers poorly positioned melee DPS when they cause a boss parry - but it's marked as abandoned on Curse. Does anyone know of a replacement, before I take over the project in my oh-so-copious free time?

I used to use this mod, but took a break from WoW and couldn't find it when I got back. I'm looking for a mail mod that completely overhauls the mailbox UI. Shows 100ish items per page, allows for quick looting / sending, etc.

Pitbull UnitFrames at least has such a ticker. I *think* AG_UF and/or X-Perl have that feature as well.

Don't know of any standalone mods from the top of my head.

Far as I can tell, evl's is 'just' making the name plates look better, as do the other mods mentioned previously in the thread.

evl_nameplates also puts a red highlight around the nameplate of any mob that is aggro'd to you. I tank using it, and it is makes it quite obvious which mobs in the mix are not targetting me.

Perhaps aloft did even more than that, putting some text to indicate who they are targetting as well, but evl does show if they are on you are not in a useful way.

I am looking for a casting mod that I think used to be called 'hover'. It let you cast using your mouse over target, without using a macro. Its not quite like clique, I mean hover over, not selecting a target, and hit the key binding for your spell, and the spell hits your mouse over, not your target.

I am looking for a mod that allows me to setup key binds for an char without changing the blizzard ones that are saved on the account.

Also possible would be a mod that allows me to setup profiles for key bindings.

The first one can be done via an addon called Macaroon which is a Bar Addon, but all of it's bars are virtual. So it doesn't make changes to any of the default bindings.

The second can be done I believe by myBindings2 (myBindings2 - Addons - Curse)

Sadly both mods are not working anymore. At least macaroon is not continued and mybindings lacks the option to save/load profiles.

It would be enough if i could save virtual key bindings that don't overwrite the blizzard ones.

Macaroon's defunct? Have you checked WoWInterface? Macaroon! : WoWInterface Downloads : Action Bar Mods

Also, will Bartender4 not handle keybindings the way you're going for since it hooks all new buttons in the default keybinding system?

I've been seeing a dark skin for unit frames that I can't find. It's basically a black health bar with the character type as the background and then the normal blue mana bar.

Also, in the new age what unit frame is more customizeable: pitbull or ag_uf? I used pitbull in the past but I don't know how wthe two are different.

I'm not sure about ag_uf but from my experience with Pitbull, I'd say I will never use any other UF addon. Pitbull does everything I want it to do and I love it.

I'm looking for a mod that's able to tell me the vendor prices of all items I come in contact with without me physically having to go to the vendor. I'm aware that something in the Auctioneer suite provides this functionality, but I prefer not to use Auctioneer simply because it takes up so much memory and hurts my overall gameplay experience. Does anyone know a lightweight mod that could help me out here?

SellFish: WoWInterface or Curse

or

ItemPriceTooltip: Curse

I personally prefer Sellfish as I had some problems with itempricetooltip early in WotLK and Sellfish seems to be updated more often. But they both do what you are looking for, they place item vendor prices on your tool tips and both are lightweight.

You could try ChatMOD, I used it before i got Prat and it is basically a lightweight version of Prat with a lot of the same features but slightly less customisation.

Now my question: I'm looking for quite a simple mod that can show the cooldown left of abilities/trinkets etc on the actual button on the actionbar. I'm using Dominos as my bar mod at the moment and can't find a way to do it with this addon, i'd just like something that's compatible with Dominos to put a number countdown over the button.
