how do mouseover macros look?

right now I have bound Holy Light to shift+left mouse and flash of light is bound to shift+right mouse

Is anyone aware of a timer mod for effects on hostile targets (mainly CC) that does NOT require them to be your target or focus? NECB used to be able to do this once upon a time, but the new version does not, nor do any other timer mods that I've been able to find.

I believe that ForteXorcist can do this, I use it on my priest and it keeps track of all targets I have Renew on for example. Also shows debuffs, so I would guess it shows CC even though you don't have the CCed mob targetet, I haven't tried that yetthough, perhaps someone else can shed some light on this?

No dice. Not only will it not track Freezing Trap on mobs that aren't targeted, it won't even catch half my spells with the Hunter module.

Not really tested it with CC, but YATBA (Yet Another Timer Bar Addon) keeps track of my Sacred Shield on various targets (and also displays their remaining duration under a green health bar with their name and current health).

Action bar and skinning option for the UI. Pretty self explanatory. Typing /dom config will bring up the Dominos Configuration Menu, which is also reachable by typing /dom and bringing up the Addon Configuration menu.

After some configuring, this seems pretty close to what I'm looking for. I have to mouseover things to get their timers to display if I haven't had them targeted/focused, but other than that it works well enough. Still wish there could be one that pulls all the data from the combat log, though.

I can't find the name of this addon that changes the font of your player nameplate. I'm looking for something like in Boomshack's UI here.

No addon - he simply changed the fonts.
You can do so by creating a Fonts folder in the WoW directory, The standard WoW fonts are called Morpheus.ttf, FRIZQT__.ttf and skurri.ttf. Simply rename the font of your choice to the appropriate font (they're used for different things, such as basic text including Questlog and Big Location Font etc) and you're done. Don't recall off-hand which does what, so you'll have to fiddle a bit with it.
If you insist on using an addon, Clearfont2 can do the trick. I personally didn't like it much, but that's just me.

I have no clue what you mean by 'the cool image', so I'll let that one be for someone who might grasp what you're trying to say.

I've been looking for a mod called "TimeToDie" which will calculate when a raid boss will die based on current raid DPS, but it looks like it's been removed from curse and wowace. I would appreciate it if anyone could point me to a working version of timetodie or a similar addon.

I searched most of the addon sites and did a few searches on this forum and couldn't find it, hopefully someone remembers.

Back pre 2.4, I had an addon that looked/felt/acted very similar to the Mac Dashboard/Widget feature. When you moused over the top right corner of your screen, a semi-opaque screen would come up, allowing you to put your open bags, damaged meter, chat boxes or anything else on that "level" and then when you moused over the corner agian, they disappeared, leaving your main window clean and pristine.

I've searched for about 45 mins and can't find any mention of an addon similar to this anywhere. Anyone have an idea on it?

Me and my fellow rogues have been looking for a mod that not only assists in casting Tricks of the Trade on a raid member, but also keeps track of other rogues cooldowns on tricks. The primary purpose of course would be to trade tricks with other rogues for the DPS boost.

What I have been using currently is just a simple mouseover macro. (I did not go with focus, because every time a combat rogue casts Killing Spree, all targeting is lost on him/her)

/cast [target=mouseover, exists, nodead] Tricks of the Trade
/script SendChatMessage("TRICKS!Watch your threat or Trick me back!", "WHISPER", "Orcish", UnitName("mouseover"));
/script SendChatMessage("Tricks on "..(UnitName("mouseover") or "<no target>"))

Someone said they had seen a mod that simplified the casting process further, but also displayed cooldowns for your fellow rogues. This would be sweet if anyone has seen this around somewhere!

I'm looking for, but can't find, a simple mod to change the aggroborder around nameplates.
I know i could customize roth's version of evl's nameplates to my own design, but i'd rather keep using my current addon (nameplate modifier).
I expect it can be as easy as a custom graphic file with the right filename/folder combination, but I have no idea what that is. (my guess: ../interface/tooltip/<name>.tga?)
