To the previous 2 posters: this isn't really possible because the combat log doesn't tell you which spell caused damage absorption, and therefore who cast it (according to Recount's current author). Besides, depending on luck/gear/skill, it's highly random. Example: you did your job, but your tank avoided most hits, resulting in your shields not absorbing a whole hell of a lot. Does that make you a bad healer ? No. But a meter wouldn't show much.

Shields are preventive "heals", traditional heals are reactive. Important difference. The best way is to educate your group leaders as to your abilities and teach them how to use a Healing Meter. It's not as simple as a Damage Meter.

I am looking for a mod that will popup and icon when a buff is about to expire. Specifically for hunger for blood. I would like to be able to adjust the time when it shows up. Sort of like coolings2 but for buffs. It seems I need a sledgehammer to the head when it is about to drop because the classtimer bar I am using just isn't keeping my attention during highly active fights.

You can use ForteXorcist for that, i know you want quartz to do it but i have never tried it out my self.

I used macaroon pre-patch 3.0.8 and was wondering if anyone knew of plans to drop or fix the mod, or if there are any similar addons I should check out instead.

There's a fix for it at Macaroon bugfix patch for current PTR build/3.0.8 : WoWInterface Downloads : Plug-Ins & Patches. Unfortunately I can't comment on whether it works or not since I don't use the mod.

Yes it does work; However, you need to back up your macaroon settings from the saved variables in your WTF Folder first. If you lose all of your bars after reloading the addon and patch then you may need to load your saved variables back into your WTF folder.
I loaded the new Macaroon update and then loaded the patch. All is well.

Looking for a mod like ButtonFacade that will make blizzards standard buffs/debuffs look better. I'm working on a new UI and don't mind where they are located, but i wanted them more crisp and smooth, maybe a tad smaller. TiA!

I didn't want to use an actual mod for buffs/debuffs. I use one now, but i don't mind the blizzard buffs where they are at now, just wanted to know if i could make them look better without using a mod for the buffs.

rBuff is rad, otherwise try BuffSkin. Both very lightweight with minimal functionality...sounds like what you're after.

In regards to previous issue where I asked how to maintain the Auction House window open with any other panel. It was strictly a UI scaling issue. Something had reset my UI scale back to maximum.

Anyone know of a DoTimer like addon that allows you to assign specific colors to the timer of a spell, or if it would be possible to modify Quartz's timers to do this?

For example, red for Haunt and Corruption, yellow for Unstable Affliction and Immolate, and green for all others?

First time posting here and please forgive me if i am asking something that has been covered, but after trying a couple different unit frames and other addons i think i have something i like, i am using spartanui with bartender4 and prat3.0. My problem is my modified chat box is still behind my spartanui. im looking for a mod that will make the chatbox mobile.
any pointers?

Does anyone know of a mod that can check the recipes you can make (say, glyphs for example), and then check the auction house to see if any aren't listed? I've tried for days to make auctioneer do this, and either it can't or I don't get it.

Not a mod, but can anyone identify the font used in this screenshot. Its not TwCentMT or Franklin Gothic or anything like that. I checked and its not a part of the SharedMedia package either.

This is a modified oUF lyn, and the fonts look like the Swiss 721 Bold that's included with that layout.

Found some Lynui pack from my hd and the font used on that version atleast was Arial Narrow Bold.
