Probably something like Aloft or EVL_Nameplates

I'm looking for a mod that lets me write walls of text to spam at players in a raid. Specifically, I'd like to write up 'role strategies'... boss strategies separated by roll, with only the information that roll needs to know about the boss. Raiding for dummies, I'd like to be able to spam a 'role blurb' at a list of players in a raid, like to all the ranged dps, or to all the tank healers, to give them what they need to know, and only what they need to know, about the upcoming boss fight.

While it would be nice to wrap these text blurbs in an interface that let me assign roles to players, and auto-select text blocks based on role, I'll settle just for a mod that lets me write, save, and organize, text documents in game.

In the past I've used Flexbar's editor (original) for this task, but it's horribly broken and unsupported now. It did have a nice, built in text editor.

That's not the Yeti's health. That's the damage number from the hunter's auto-shot floating up. You can see on the scrolling combat text in the lower right that the hunter just fired a 53 point auto-shot seconds prior.

I am looking for a nameplate AddOn that shows threat% in nameplates. I used to have this AddOn before WotLK was released (But after Echoes of Doom) but I lost it when I re-installed my Windows before we started leveling and I am unable to find that AddOn.

For a savable in game text editor check out Papyrus or perhaps Endeavour's NotePad.

Papyrus' author states that you can run pages as scripts so perhaps you could use this to output the page to your players. I've never used a mod like this so read the pages and see if either works for you.




For very customizable nameplates nameplate check out Aloft. The default nameplates include a threat glow indicator while Aloft has a ton of newly added threat options.

For the poster on the previous page: You could consider using Aloft to display mob health on your nameplates.

I never thought i needed the mod so I never cared to remember its name.
I'm looking for an addon that shows me fresh available skill-cd as big, flashing icons in the middle of my screen.

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has ever seen or heard of a way to "poll" your raid/guild. Trying to figure out a new raid day and having everyone spam my mailbox just doesnt seem like the best way. If anyone has heard of such a thing i would appreciate it. Thanks.

I know this addon is eepanels but it hasnt been updated in a while. I like the clean look of it does anyone know of anything similar?

Kgpanels is the continuation of eepanels. I'm pretty sure that's kgpanels with a custom texture.

I was in a 25 man pug and saw this loot master using a mod that would tell him who won rolls, without having to really 'do' anything...he just posted the item, said roll and after 10 seconds or so it would say who won, bot style...IE

I am hoping it is a compilation but all I was sent was the link to the shot by a friend with no description of the site it originally was from.

I was curious if anyone could tell me the name of an addon that announces the loot distribution, I saw someone in a group that announced who got what in his raid to guild chat.

Not sure if that's built into Loot Hog or what.

NRT does what you speak of although I'm not sure if it is the specific mod you are asking about. Specifically, it will announce to guild chat the name and item looted when someone loots something from a raid boss.

XLoot can do this, but I'm not sure if it only works when the Master Looter has it.

I'd put donuts to dollars that that is a very loved pitbull raid frame with some good use of the aura module of dogtags.

Take a look at the Dogtags 3.0 thread - you can find some info there on how to add the text and display those buffs.
It's not overly long, but can't recall the exact post.

There used to be a mod that would tell you a person's resilience based on how much your dots tick on them. Does something like this still exist?
