My bad. Well, by default you can move the chat window where ever you like. You don't need an addon to do that. If you're not talking about the chat window, then I guess I just don't understand what a "social frame" is. To move your chat window, hover over it wait for the tabs to appear, right click the tab and unlock the frame. Then, simply resize and or move it about. Unless something has changed recently, this has always worked for me in the past. |

Pressing "O" opens your social frame (at least with standard keybindings).
Friends/Ignores/Guild/Raid. |

What are the 4 mods that I have put in boxes? not sure what they do but they look interesting.
The UF one I am not interested in the unit frame itself but more a function of the unit frame. This screeny was taken from a video and the alpha on the unit frame changed when the player moved into combat. Would like to know if there is a mod out there that will do this for DUF? |

top right it's Decursive2, announces comes from BigWigs. You can find them both on WoWace. The UI function is fading, it's available in Pitbull for example (i don't use this function but i think it can be config for range checking or combat on/off). Don't know for the other one.

Target Buffs/Debuffs & Ingame Event Driven Scripting
I'd like to get a mod that can show my current target's buffs/debuffs in a similar format to Blizzard's standard buffs (although really more like Satrina's Buff Frame or Buffalo for configurability). Note I've not yet tried Satrina's so if that does it let me know.
I'd also be interested in a mod that would allow some form of ingame scripting when certain events occur. For example, say I join a party/raid, I'd like an eePanel to be toggled as visible. So essentially I'd like to be able to select an event, and then attach a script.

Moveanything is relatively buggy, or was last time I used it. There is an ace mod, also, called visor2. Really, though, neither one of these mods are completely necessary. If you use a unit frame addon, that will allow movement and resizing of all unit frames, and likewise for minimap, chat, quest, and any other addons you may use. There's not a lot of movement that needs to be done if you just replace blizzard frames. |

He's talking about the social pane, not the raid frames.
As in the window that shows your guild information, friends list, raid list, etc.
Again Fluid frames will just let you drag it where ever you want :P |

Right but I was mainly replying to the "Any UI connoisseur will use Moveanything" comment mostly. Moveanything is a good tool for moving something like the social pane, but isn't there an addon somewhere that will actually reskin and shrink the social pane or provide some additional functionality. If all you want to do is move one pane, a big mod capable of moving anything seems excessive.
