Anyone know the name of the mod that announces when CC breaks (primarily used in PvP)

Ex: [BLIND] has been removed by <player name> << something like that..

There are doubtlessly a few mods that do this but I use Big Brother for such purposes on raids. It gives you a line of the form:
"[%t]'s [Raid Symbol] [CC type] has been removed by [Playername]'s [Action-name]."

Recently, I changed from X-perl to Pitbull (good riddance), but as much as I prefer pitbull, there's one thing I miss very much from it - the ability to see who's targeting you/who's targeting your target. In Xperl, there was this small box next to the target frame/player frame that showed the number of people targeting you/the mob, and if you hovered over it with your mouse it'd show you in detail who it is.

Is there any equivalent standalone mod or module for Pitbull I can use to emulate that?

You can use dogtag on pitbull to have a nubmer on the frame somewhere, not sure about the hover, though.



If you really wanted You could use KGpanels and create a panel with the background of a picture. You'd have to edit the picture to make the size and file type work.

I created a new text (target -> texts -> other -> {input name}) for the target frame then wrote [numtargeting] in the Style - Custom frame.

I'm looking for any list of font addons out there. I had clearfont2 with the font pack, but I just deleted it to use clearfont3........ which doesn't work. I can't find clearfont2 anywhere anymore and I'm just looking for something else to change my fonts around to something unique yet legible.

I don't recall what fonts get changed, but you can create a "Fonts" folder in your WoW directory and paste the same font four times and rename them (listed below). There used to be a little tutorial that came with Clearfont telling you what to do.

I play a caster and a tank. is there a "bundle" of addons that anyone knows of that would work well? look good. Im not on the know really with mods/addons. I would appreciate any help.

I'm looking for some kind of mod that can filter debuffs on your target. I realise you can set it up with dogtags in pitbull but I can't seem to configure it good enough and I do prefer visuals instead of text :p
Ideally would be the possibility to also filter duplicate debuffs like master poisoner and totem of wrath.

You can do that with the Auras tab in Pitbull and avoid dogtags; there's a drop-down list where you can check/uncheck debuffs for friendly and hostile targets, and add in additional auras too.

Does anyone know of a buff bar addon which works in the following manner:
Instead of listing the buffs you do have cast on you, I would like to program a list of buffs I want, and once that buff is cast on me it disappears from the list.

I am thinking in my head of something like Elk buff bars but in reverse, where a list is visible until I receive the buff and it only appears if I don't have it currently.

I'm guessing you would just want icons then since bars would be kind of pointless. You could do this by setting up TellMeWhen. Not sure if you can get enough icons for all the buffs, but it certainly has the functionality you want.

Another addon you might want to look at is Auracle (De)Buff Monitor : WoWInterface Downloads : Ace: Buffs. Its advantage is that it let you group several buffs of the same category. So instead of displaying two icons for Blessing of Might and Battle Shout you can group both buffs and label the icon "AP Buff" and make it disappear if the buff is present.

Both Auracle and BuffEnough have their disadvantages though.
Auracle doesn't know anything about the capabilities of your group and will complain about missing Blessing of Kings even if there is no Paladin.
BuffEnough DOES know the capabilities of the group but needs mouse over to show the missing buffs in the tooltip otherwise it only shows its "something is missing"-color and it isn't possible to see what is missing with one look at the UI.

Procodile doesn't work for me, has anyone else got a proccing addon they like and actually use ?

I haven't used it in a few months, but Proculas - Addons - Curse is a working ICD monitor.

There is currently a bug with this mod concerning the greatness proc and cooldown. The mod has the spell ID wrong so you need to add a custom timer with the correct spell ID.
