It looks like his raid frames are the same addon as his other unit frames, but if they're seperate like Grid let me know the names of both the addons.

They're Pitbull4, using CaithUI's layout.

(Seen this done a fair few times.)
And to Xatanas above re: Yogg-Saron - It's looks like either DoTimer or ClassTimer. I think both could get that effect, but my money's on DoTimer.

Thank you, I'll try both.

Which addon allows one to change the font (and maybe modify further) the in-game combat text (ie the Blizzard Combat text over targets)?

Good Damage Font (I apologize if the link is out of date, Curse is going slow for me)
Nice Damage Font - Very similar to Good Damage Font, but comes with a few fonts to choose from rather than one.
Fontain - This mod changes *all* the fonts in game
Alternatively you can go into your WoW folder (usually C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft or C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft) and create a new folder, call this folder 'Fonts'. After creating this folder you want to copy and paste the font you want as your damage font into the folder and then rename that font to 'skurri.ttf'. IE - for the first example above it would be C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Fonts\skurri.ttf).

You might want to try out ClearFont.
Which addons lets me track the proc rate/uptime of my weapon enchants (e.g. Rune of Fallen Crusader)?

I've suddenly had a strange health/mana bar appear, which was never there before. It's in the middle-upper portion of my screen and is a target frame.
Using /print GetMouseFocus():GetName() identifies it as "world frame". Has anybody else seen this and how to get rid of it?
Thanks in advance.

Heya,
I'm looking for a mod used in this PvP video: Gumz 'n Friends! By Gum - World of Warcraft Movies
What it does is place a class icon above the heads of enemies in PvP/Arena. For example, if a Hunter ran around a stack of boxes in Dalaran arena, you'd still see the hunter class icon floating above his head, nice and visible, marking his position.
Some have suggested this is Aloft, but I don't think Aloft can do this.

That's an option in Carbonite if I'm not mistaken.

Aloft can do this, but I don't believe the module for the class icon is enabled by default. The option to turn it on is under Modules, the second to last option in the config menu, above Profile.

Really? I'll give it a shot, thanks.
When looking at the Aloft comments, I noticed the Mod Author had said the following relating to the icons, so I wasn't sure if it was possible.

i have played with this a bit (this "giant icon over the character model's head" look), and i am seeing a few problems with it:
1) right now, there is no way to get rid of the health bar (completely). shrinking it down to miniscule size via nameplate layout might be feasible, but...
2) the lack of a healthbar (whether reduced in size or hidden somehow), placed in a fairly default location (i.e. close to where Blizzard expects it to be), effectively negates mouse interaction via nameplates (and/or the area which remains sensitive to the mouse becomes tiny and cryptic). that would mean no nameplate targeting, no right-click interaction, etc.
3) right now, contorting nameplates in this way to give friendly PC nameplates this sort of look also contorts NPC nameplates... and effectively renders them useless. this might not be too bad in PvP, but it is certainly not "general purpose" (and if all you had was a giant class icon to go on, even in PvP it could be difficult to differentiate friend from foe; i would need to add some sort of explicit indicator, or ask people to overload a text tag to achieve this, or something).
wish i knew more about what the end-user in that online movie was doing, what addon they were using, and what sort of features they were expecting as a result. if anyone ever figures out what they are/were using, please feel free to post more information on it here. i am happy to reverse engineer other addons and base new Aloft features on that analysis.
as it looks now, i would have to code a bunch of special stuff into Aloft just for PC nameplates (friendly only, hostile only, and/or both, etc) in order to work around these issues, and any sort of simplifying assumptions on my part could end up delivering a "one size fits all" graphical style few people would actually ever want. of course, something generic would also be possible (i.e. separate layout option sets for each "type" of nameplate: friendly PC, hostile PC, friendly/neutral NPC, hostile NPC, and so on), but if i were going to tackle anything that "big" and invasive right now, it would be an Ace3 port (which i think has more long-term strategic value/utility for Aloft as an addon). for now, anyway, it would be "easier" for all concerned if i could just recommend a different addon, that already does this, for those who want it.
anyway, i will think about this some more. maybe it would not end up needing to be as narrow/specialized (or as invasive) as i am currently visualizing it.

I usually favor EPGP but as far as I know it lacks "multiguild" support. Maybe someone more involved can right me on this?
A couple of friends of mine on other servers seem to like Quick DKP. Give it a try, it might be what you're after. Should be better than pen and paper in any case.

I posted this on the wowinterface comment page, but it's also relevant here so reposting:
And as mentioned, you need to manually enable the class icons module.

I've been looking for a little while now for my quest to create a decent UI that is very close to the default UI. What I am looking for is an AddOn to clean the default target unitframes of any buffs or debuffs. I'm quite sure its out there somewhere.

You can hide everything with a few lines in .lua, just make a macro saying '/print GetMouseFocus():GetName()', bind it to a key and press that while mouseovering the target's buff frames. This way you see what the frames for your target's buffs are called. Then make an addon: (Hider.lua + Hider.toc, with Hider.lua looking like
MainMenuBarLeftEndCap:Hide(); -- left gryphon
MainMenuBarRightEndCap:Hide(); -- right gryphon
TargetBuffFrame1 (or whatever the frame is called):Hide(); -- target's buffs #01
TargetBuffFrame2 (etc.)

I've been through several different debuff timers to track sunder/demo/thunderclap on my target but have been unable to find one that shows a timer for said debuffs if another raid member applies them. Spending global cooldowns attempting to apply debuffs already active on the target is starting to annoy.
Anyone have any recommendations for a suitable mod?

It's probably the normal "What happened to me" combatlog modded with Yurr for the left part, and the "general" combatlog Yurred with right centralisation to achieve the right window. For the "What happened to me" window he's formatted to omit all of the initial "|You|"s.
