Two things, first off, I've seen many UI's that the chat panel, and other panels, fade from one side to the other, is this a particular addon or is it a way they've manipulated their current panel settings?

And second, I've read a lot of ppl talking about Kg panels being better then eepanels, what are peoples thoughts on this?

KgPanels is a replacement for eepanels2, eepanels2 is no longer in development.
Personally I hate the new way they do config menu's, and it's even more annoying that the panels appear behind the kgpanel menu when one try and make a new panel. But alot of authors like the new ACE3 menu's alot.

You can read in it's SVN description it's the replacement for eepanels2, and you can also see that eepanels2 haven't been updated for months due to the release of kgpanels, along with being moved into "Outdated" mods.
Please please please, use the WAU, and don't download copies from Curse or similiar.

And fading, also known as gradient background-colour, is supported by eepanels and it's successor kgpanels. Both is just a panel behind the chat, nothing special there.

Is there any mods that can shift your viewport? I know about Aperture being able to shrink your viewport, but I want to just shift where my character stands on the screen up, so its about 40% of the way from the top instead of half way.

Since it was too difficult for me to read all of those 114 pages :

Is there any mod out there which can make sure you have certain things in the middle of your screen? Like making sure your bottom action bar is in the middle of the screen.

Or do i have to use something to measure it by myself?

Try Align. It puts a grid across your screen so you can measure visually. - Align @ WoW Interface

I'm curious to know if there is a mod that can keep track of things I looted in a session. I do a fair bit of farming, and knowing exactly what and how much of each item I looted would be a neat way for me to evaluate my farming speed. I've seen a few mods that let me keep track of how much of a particular item I loot, but I want a mod that keep track of everything in a session, even the random green.

I want an addon that lets me mouse over my buffs and it tells me who in raid is missing that buff. The one I once had, allowed me to keep my buff icons exactly where Blizzard has them and thats the way I like it.

I think that is just Proximo2 set to announce activity in a Raid Warning.
