I've been looking around at drum macros and have seen quite a few people have something like the following:
/p {skull} Drums used {skull}

When printed out to party chat, it will actually display the skull symbol in place of the skull. I thought maybe it was something special that an addon like SimpleDrumAnnounce did but I downloaded it and it still does not convert the {skull} to the actual symbol in party chat. Does anyone know what the addon is that allows this?

Uhh reduxed, i just logged in without any addons enabled and a {skull} created the icon...

Weird, disabled all of my addons and it works now. I wonder which one is interfering with it :o

Do you use Prat? That's probably what does it. I have the same thing.

a friend of mine had an addon awhile back that let him right click on the target and a menu popped up. on this menu he could put spells or macros that would be cast when he choose them (similair to the popup for the player that gives you loot options and such when in a group). any idea what this was and where it is still in devlopement?

Yeah it is Prat. Any idea how to fix it :P? I've been scrolling through the options for half an hour now and can't seem to find anything pertaining to it.

No, I don't think there's a function to disable the disabling of raid icons in chat. But I never fiddle with Prat very much.

Fishsticks. I guess Oomm just had some crazy Prat settings in his UI and that's why it doesn't work for me ^^

i am looking for an addon wich could make a list of all mobs who are in combat so i could easily switch from one to another by clicking on their name rather than tab-targetting.

ideally with health/mana bar and current target and symbol.

i currently use pitbull but i didn't see anything that can do it

The Blizzard API doesn't allow targeting by addon-created unitframes midfight. The only thing that comes close is Magictargets, which creates a list of HP-bars of mobs recently targeted by you or other players in party/raid, with their corresponding raid symbols. No targeting though, so it's only useful for getting a good impression for mobhealth in extensive fights. Useful for large trashpacks, and synergy with Magicmarkers (displays chosen CC on the HP-Bar).
