Try MoveAnything.

You go to MoveAnything (on the Menu bar) then scroll all the way down to "Miscellaneous" and check off "Hide" next to "Zone Zoning Text". There may be an addon with which you can to this more easily, but MA is the only one I know of.

Also, does anyone know the addon used to make the buffs look this way in the screenshot below?

If I'm not mistaken, Supplicium posted his UI in the Post Your Interface Thread. Have a look there to make sure.
I'd hazard a guess it's Satrina Buff Frames, but I might be off.

ok, when i healed for a 5 man instance i used the keybinds 1 = 1rst party member, 2= 2nd party member, etc...
now i am healing 25 mans, which addon allows me to make keybinds to target raid members in other groups (something where i could do; player 4 in group 3, keybind Ctrl4, player 2 in group 1, keybind 1, etc.)

It's nBuff with a buffskin of mine. You can get this as a part of oUF_Asym UI on Wowinterface.

Hello. I would like to know a name of an addon. I had it about a year ago, but after reinstalling my game I lost the addon and I cannot recall the name. What the addon would do is countdown the time until combat ended in PvP which made it easier to time heals to land drinks as you dropped combat. I'm wondering if anyone uses something similar to this addon, or knows of one I could use. Makes arenaing as Holyplay just that little bit easier, heh.

Hello, Does anyone of a good addon that would keep track the scorch stacks put up on a mob between me and other mages, along with other debuffs such a living bomb and sheep. I'm using scorchio2 but i really dislike the general look of it. I also tried ClassTimers but it seems to stop tracking debuffs/polyif i do not have it targeted, which makes it really useless when sheeping something in a instance.

1) At one point there was an alternative to Aloft, but the one you linked isn't it. Perhaps it's a dead addon. Ah well.

Perhaps you are thinking of Evl's nameplates? It's part of this compilation, just pull out what you want when you download it.

I used to have an addon that gathered all the buttons around the minimap and hid them until I clicked on the addon button and then it would display them. I can't remember what it was called, any ideas?

It must be one of these two addons:
-Minimap Button Bag
or
-Minimap Button Frame
