I do not exactly know if an addon line like exists or not. I am looking for something that show a rune or some sort of outline for AoE spells such as Rain of Fire ect ect. I play with my graphics all the way up but still even with that at times its hard to tell when your fully out of something and not moving into another problem area. Thanks in advance.

I am currently looking for an Addon that helps me as Arms warrior to maximise my priorities while in a raid.
The addons that could do such a task are outdated, they do function but i am unable to configure them after the current needs.
The addon i found best was "Strong Arms" (link to curse.com). It has the functionality i need but the last update was in may 2009.
Since then some changes occured and id like to be able to update the prioritylist myself, instead of waiting for an updated addon.
I also tried "SpellFlash"(link to curse.com).
Now this addon works diffrently, it flashes procs brightly and that could be enough for my personal use. However i cannot update the priority list either and it flashes serveral skills at once where the StrongArms addon would change the next attack instantly.

Anyone know an addon that has just the functions i am looking for?

I think that Faceroller has support for ARMS.

Hi everyone!

I'am looking for an addon, which is working kind a like "Raid-Comp" (MMO-Champion) and helps me analyse which Class-Talentbased-Buffs are missing in my Raid. Maybe the addon is directy able to announce the Class and Specs that aren't filled yet and should be invited to optimize the group.

Looks to me like an addon suite called nUI. You can find it in a google search. It's a standalone and not available through curse client.

3 month ago I had an addon on my mage, that would tell me when my talents procced, how many stacks of ArcaneBlast I had up etc. but now I can't recall what it was.

It would pop up icons with the proccs in question. Any ideas?

I use DBM-SpellTimers to track my raidmates' cooldowns. I know this is not what you're looking for but, besides detecting the cast and painting a new bar, there's maybe an option to track durations instead of CDs

Sounds like Scorchio2. Atm Scorchio2 is having a hard time detecting procs (MBarr, Hot Streak), so I would recommend Power Auras for proc tracking.

So, I've been trying to find a DotTimer for some time. I switch between playing a DK Tank, Disc Priest and Warlock(Aff primarily)

What I'm trying to find is a dot timer that functions somewhat like the BigWigs timers. I can have a stack off to the side that shows me all of my current dots, but when I target something, the dots on that target move to a different place. I've been using multiple mods across the 3 characters as needed by fight/class/spec. Usually it's some mashup of NeedToKnow ForteXorcist or Nugrunning. Before I start mucking about and trying to re-invent the wheel I figured I would check if anyone could suggest another option?

Edit 2: Oh and Classtimer/DotTimer with their Prominence feature are close, but don't quite fit the bill since I can't choose to show by current target.

EDIT2: In an effort to try and save face I went digging for you and found TimerButtons - Addons - Curse ... It looks like it might work.

Thanks for the suggestions! ButtonTimers was neat, but a bit more and less than I wanted. Looks like I'll probably just put some stuff together with spare bits of code here and there. Here's hoping I don't blow my computer up!

On right side of his frame is panel with custom Lua Text/Dog Tags

Auracle can be set to do that but with icons, much easier.

If I remember correctly, there have been some questions about that particular info panel before. The end decision was that it was not, in fact, part of the unit frames, but rather a kgPanels panel with a custom script. This could also be accomplished with litePanels I believe, though Auracle is considerably easier to set up as you mentioned. It is, however, very high on memory usage, if that is actually a concern.

That is correct. In fact, the author of that 'mod' posted the UI with an upload on WoWinterface. If you'll wade through the "Show your UI"-thread, you'll find a post of him there as well as a link to the upload.

I was interested in finding a mod or addon that automatically runs a timer / stopwatch when you enter combat. In a sense, it would be the same thing as the DXE module but that tends to not run on fights that haven't been integrated yet.
